The Riverhouse is situated on 300+ feet of the Spokane River directly across from Riverside State Park in the Nine Mile Falls area just 15 miles northwest of downtown Spokane, Washington. For larger rigs we can offer you a comfortable stay on a graveled parking lot overlooking the woods and the Spokane River. If you are car/truck camping with 4WD or tenting you are more than welcome to set up camp down by the river (keep in mind its a steep, gravel hill that you would need to climb to get out so 4WD is required if you don't want to pack it in). Feel free to roam the property where you can fish off our dock or swim in our swimming hole (conditions permitting) or just sit back and relax and watch the amazing sunsets over the water.
16' Gated entrance. Larger Rigs would need to back into lot with approach next to highway. (We are over 55' long with trailer and rig and and have no problem.) Some smaller setups may be allowed to park down by the river however there is a steep graveled hill that would require 4WD to climb back out.

We were only able to spend one night here but the hosts are amazing. In addition to their great .pdf map and directions (which means you can look at it even when there is no internet signal), they helped us back in -- pointed out a good spot with a view of the river. It was HOT the evening we were there so we were *really* grateful for their 50 amp outlet in front of their shop. (Our fifth wheel is 30 amp but we have an adapter -- so no problem.) They told us to feel free to walk the property along the river, so we did -- and got some great reflection shots of a bridge across the river from their house. After our long and HOT drive heading east from Lake Chelan, this place was just the ticket. Thanks to these great Boondockers Welcome hosts for their great hospitality and sharing their property with the rest of us. JIM & ANNIE
We were lucky enough to be able to stay at The Riverhouse for two nights and it was just perfect. I'm so thankful for the hospitality and generosity that they showed us. Their home is just beautiful and it was this amazing healing oasis. I hope that we run across each other on the road!! xx
