Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe have a large paved area in front of our barn. Wouldn’t exactly call it pull-through but plenty of room to turn around just past our barn and also the end of the road is a cul-de-sac which allows big rigs to turn around easily.
Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate campers from May through November because the snow limits where we can put vehicles and campers.
No running generators after 10pm.
We have a large back yard , feel free to walk your dogs there and also relax there. We have allowed dogs to run free with supervision in our yard but Lowell has a “leach Law”, so, you may do so at your own risk.
If you need to cancel or change dates, that’s fine, life happens, but please let us know as soon as you know , we try to schedule so we are around when you arrive to get you placed, and go over power, water, and local attractions. We have full schedules, and may have other things to do if you are not coming. Please show this courtesy to all host, it is what keep this wonderful system available for all of us.
We appreciate $5/night if you are going to use A/C or Heat, otherwise no charge.
Quiet residential neighborhood. Road in excellent condition.
Next to rig if rig is not too long .
Will need to discuss with fellow campers. We do a lot of last minute trips in the summer, but feel free to give us a shout and see if we can accommodate you.
Lowell Historical National Park which includes the Boott Mills Museum, the Textile Museum, Canal Tours. Also LeLacheur baseball park where Lowell Spinners play. Tsongas Arena and Lowell Memorial auditorium where there are many venues. There is access to the Merrimack River very close to our house, free boat ramp for boats and Kayaks. Dump station approximately 5 miles from our property.
My second stay here, quiet and private. Was lucky to have unusually warm weather in November, it felt like a summertime stay.
We really enjoyed our visit in this location. It is a perfect location to explore Salem and Boston. Our host lighthearted and humorous. Cold weather and snow came early to the area, and are hosts were accommodating and thoughtful. I really wish, as with all of our host, covid wasn't an issue so we could socialize more with our hosts!
A great quiet location, never expected anything this good within reach of Boston. Was 2 days for me as my plans kept changing but hosts were completely flexible and accommodating which is a great stress relief.
Quiet neighborhood and easy to park in front of the barn. Great hospitality - enjoyed being able to use the backyard to play!
The regular site for Boondockers is in front of the garage, but due to the small size of our rig the hosts offered to let us pull into the back yard. It was perfect for us but a larger rig could not get back there. We enjoyed the privacy and the use of the fire ring as well as plenty of wood for the fire. We had a great place to walk and play with our dog. The hosts gave us brochures of attractions in the area as well as a sheet they printed out of local amenities. It was the perfect spot for us and we enjoyed staying there and talking with our hosts. Thanks for everything!
Denise and Rich were great. Very accommodating and informative! Great location. My daughter and I had the best time.
Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They provided us with lots of information for sightseeing in the area and surrounding areas. Their roperty is gorgeous and spacious. We would love to stay again when visiting the area.
This was a wonderful stay as my wife finally got to go to Salem from this place and she's been dying to for a long time. I also found out that my favorite Christmas movie of all time was film partially here that's the Christmas Chronicles sometime in the film the kid says he's from Lowell Massachusetts which turned out to be here. Our hosts were very hospitable we got water we got power and we hopefully made some new friends. Thank you again to our house for a wonderful time too bad the rain didn't cooperate too well
Once again, great hosts!!! In addition to the stay offer and chat, we really appreciated their help with orienting us rural westerners in how to cope with Boston area traffic.
The site is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and easy to get in and out of. Electricity was a nice bonus for a boondocking experience. It was also nice to chat with the owners in the AM and get to know them.
Sad we never met Denise but Rich is awesome and so helpful
Highly highly recommend
We were so happy we met this couple and got to know them. Not only did they come out to greet us, but they gave us fantastic advice on visiting the city. This was the perfect location for trips to Boston (45 minutes by train, super easy!) and Lexington/Concord (25 minutes by car). Lowell itself is a National Historic park and the start of the American Industrial Revolution. So much to see and do from this location. They are on a quiet street and we felt very safe here. They were very happy to share their time and knowledge. Thank you!
Mamie94 was a great place to stay. Our host gave us a warm welcome and informational pamphlets and typed info about the area. Lovely town and area to bike and see all of the interesting sights. Would enjoy staying with them again in the future and hope they can make it to our home.

Worked out well. Quiet neighborhood. Easy in and out. Limited time to socialize as I was attending a conference. Hosts were great!
Being new to BW we were skeptical of what our stay would be like. We chatted with Denise and she told us that they would not be there but would leave a cord to plug in. It was easy to pull in and set up. We enjoyed the area, very safe and friendly. They arrive that evening and we discussed how to get to Boston. They were very knowledgeable about the roads and traffic. They left us information on Lowell which was a very interesting tour. Also an amazing restaurant. We enjoyed talking with them and they enjoyed our dog, which made us very happy. We would certainly recommend them as a five star boondocking site.
We could only stay one night, but had a great visit. Lovely, interesting hosts that we'd like to visit again.
Very welcoming hosts. We had a nice visit and felt right at home. Enough room for our 24' trailer and F-150 without having to unhitch. With water, electric and WiFi what more could you ask for!
Denise and Rich are wonderful hosts! They could not have been more accommodating...and let us arrive a day earlier than expected. They recommended a visit to the national historic park, and we had a wonderful morning in Lowell before boarding the train to Boston. Thank you Denise and Rich for a wonderful stay!
We stayed overnight at this site on Easter Sunday as we were traveling home. They were very gracious and so friendly. We chatted for awhile & we hope to see them again sometime. Please come to CT anytime so we can reciprocate your hospitality. BTW - the Lowell wastewater dump station was very convenient. Thanks again for everything!
We found mamie94's host site to be convenient to Salem, Boston, and even Newport, CT. It's located in Lowell, MA which is very interesting as most of the downtown and former textile mills are preserved by the National Park Service and give a glimpse into the past when Lowell became the "cradle of the American Industrial Revolution". Rich and Denise were extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. They even graciously provided power which we desperately needed in August! We highly recommend their site to anyone planning to visit the Boston area!
We are so grateful for hosts like Mamie94. She was gone almost the whole time we were at her home, and she still was so nice to let us stay for a few days while we checked out Boston. She is one of the reasons we love BW. We get to meet such quality people and we get to see places we have always wanted to see. Thanks again for your kindness and hospitality.
It was a quick visit as I had been contra dancing in Concord until late. Mamie was extremely accommodating and let me arrive late. We had a lovely visit in the morning in her early 19th century farmhouse before I headed out again. The wild blackberries were delish!
After seeing the photos online, I knew I had reached the right address. It was convenient to get to and pull up to. The hosts were kind enough to share an electric connection and to help me out with opening a cargo hatch that has a problem lock (in the dark!).
Very kind and cordial hosts. I wish them happy trails!
Our stay was very nice. I would recommend anyone stay here. It looks tight but we got our 29 ft. Travel trailer in.
Rich and Denise were great hosts. We had some truck trouble on the way so arrived a week later than what we thought, Denise and Rich were very communicative and let us know they could still accommodate us when we made it there.
We didn't get to spend much time with them but they made us feel welcome while we explored around the area.
Definitely would recommend them and their beautiful spot.
Truly the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Very warm and welcoming and were happy to let me extend my stay so I could spend more time visiting my family. They supplied electricity, let me fill my water tank and even had wi-fi ! I had a great time.
Mamie94 was very accommodating and welcoming. I would def recommend as host. Wonderful area and people. Enjoy being able to travel more in the years to come. Thanks
We had a great time staying at Mamie94's parking pad. Really large and we could fit with no problem (Our RV is 32 feet, and even space to park our little Fiat behind). They provided us with water, electricity and even internet. We enjoyed our conversations, sharing places and suggestions where to go, what to see and do, as they've traveled for much longer than us. Very knowledgable and kind people and we can't thank them enough. We hope to stay in touch for the long term.
My husband and I had a lovely time at mamie94's! They were so great and hooked us up with water, electric and much needed wifi. We messaged them only a day ahead of time and they were nice enough to take us on such short notice. Gracious and nice people, we are so glad to have met them.
Enjoyed our stay, easy to find. Very knowledgeable people. Quiet even for Halloween night.
We were running late due to problems with our rig but when we finally arrived Denise and Rich were the perfect hosts with plenty of knowledge of the area. A lovely spot to park too
I highly recommend this wonderful host couple whose location is beautiful and peaceful.
They hooked me up with electricity and water, and gave me the WiFi code to their residence.
They also suggested some nearby places to visit (which I did), and I also took some long bicycle rides around Lowell.
I am very appreciative of my host's hospitality!
Mamie94 are great hosts. They have an awesome, quiet back yard to set in. With 15-20 amp elec. and water if needed. They are very friendly and outgoing and gave us good recommendations for sights to see and things to do. Wonderful 2 nights here.
We loved meeting mamie94, they are two of the loveliest people and showed us wonderful hospitality. We stayed there in a nice rural setting, very quiet and relaxing. Thank you again for hosting us.
Our first boon docking experience was with mamie94 and they made it such a positive one! We arrived rather late in the evening and they were very welcoming. We parked our Class c in front of their barn and they provided electricity and offered water which we did not need. We chatted for a while and even our kids commented that they were some of the nicest people they'd ever met! Highly recommended!
"mamie94" are the loveliest of people. Beautiful farm, very quiet and peaceful. Really truly, so welcoming and sweet. Will definitely be stopping by whenever I am in town.
Had a wonderful stay. If youre in the area stop by and see Denise and Rich. Beautiful farm that's only a short distance from downtown Lowell. Wifi provided, thanks again. Leeland
Denise and Rich couldn't have been more accomodating in my recent stay with my daughter at their home. We were on our way to Maine to meet up with my son for a brief vacation. Denise set me up in their spacious backyard and even provided a power cord for our overnight stay. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I have stayed with mamie94, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts were just as helpful and welcoming as last year.
Rich and Denise are wonderful. They were incredibly welcoming, talked with us and our kids, offered electric, water and wifi, and made an effort to communicate before and throughout our stay. They live in a quiet neighborhood with grocery, restaurants and parks nearby, and there's a FREE dump station just 10 minutes away. This was our first official Boondockers Welcome stay and it was wonderful!
In a desert of free camping opportunities, these folks were a godsend. Met through Boondockers and plan to visit again.
We spent a night in their lovely backyard. Had a problem with our camper when we arrived and Rich lent a helping hand. Very much appreciated. An hour later we were back in business. Beautiful town too. Lots to see there. Highly recommend you stay there if you're in the area.
