The hosts from Startrek were wonderful. Very welcoming and incredibly generous with both their time and the use of their beautiful home. We loved our stay and absolutely recommend this Boondocking location.
We spent a restful night in their beautiful environment surrounded by nature. Very nice and accommodating people.
Uncommonly beautiful location host very accommodating. Be aware however that this is a lovely location but a driveway thus access to larger rigs should be considered
Our brief stay with 'startrek' was very pleasant. The setting & grounds were lovely; our hosts most accommodating & helpful; and after a social evening (with homemade raspberry dessert yet!)we ended with a peaceful quiet sleep. We couldn't have asked for more. 'Startrek' BDW is highly recommended.
Wonderful hosts, Startrek welcomed us, helped us set up. We had a lovely drink on the back patio exchanged stories as a fellow boater and rver. Great trails right across the road to take pup for a walk. Unfortunately only there for a night, will use again for sure. Thank you
A very enjoyable stop on our way home. 'Startrek' provided great directions and was a welcome sight when we arrived after driving through heavy holiday weekend traffic around Montreal!! We enjoyed conversation and a refreshing beverage after we arrived, and shared some stories around the campfire too. We would love to stay again! Et aussi, merci Mme. 'Startrek' pour votre patience et vos encouragements avec mon français!!!
This couple was so friendly and we appreciated their hospitality so much.
The rain and winds were not as bad here as Walmart. But nothing is. Got a lot of Walmarts ahead tho. Startrek was an oasis.
A really nice quiet spot for the night. Shared some stories with Mike on the porch. I had to leave quite early in the morning so wasn't able to thank them enough for the water and night. Great spot close enough to the main highways. Thanks.
We were fortunate to be able to stay at a fellow Roadtrekker's home while they were away. Their neighbour was available to assist if required but we had no issues. There was a firepit all ready for us but we arrived late in the evening. We hope to be able to meet Startrek in the future.
Stayed one night here and it was very delightful. Level spot, very quiet and would recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately our host was away but maybe next time. You are very welcome to visit us sometime, as well. Thanks again.
Nice people, which have done a lot of boondocking and had a lot of tips ,suggestions on how to make our trip better.Beautifulhome and grounds located on a river, pretty easy to find even for me a newbe..
Fantastic people!! Mike speaks English great, Monique is super and communicates well. Place is beautiful, hospitility is unsurpassed. I can fully suggest they are great hosts.
Mike is a wealth of knowledge on places to checkout. He provided me with at least two week worth of day trips for my time in Newfoundland. Contact Mike for info on his blog.
