We had a great stay. Marcel and Francine were gracious hosts and made us feel right at home. It was a beautiful and quiet spot. Our 3 year old had a great time playing with their grandson's toys and didn't want to leave. We highly recommend them.
What a beautiful spot to spend the night. Wonderful hosts making us very welcome and passing on travelling stories and tips. Hope to visit again someday. Thank you.
We had a very warm, welcoming introduction to boondocking at Marcel's. Their beautiful well kept property was easy to locate and access. Marcel shared his valuable knowledge of RV Traveling and as new rv owners, we appreciate his insight. We highly recommend this location and this wonderful couple as hosts.
We had a pleasant quiet night with marcel1696 in their serene rural setting.
Lots of good stories and advice about Newfoundland boondocking.
We would be glad to return.
We had a wonderful stay with Marcel and his wife. They were very generous and hooked us up to water and electricity. Beautiful area and nice and quiet. We enjoyed our conversations and got lots of tips for our adventure to Newfoundland. Big thank you!
We stayed one night with these people. Had a great conversation on their deck. Excellent parking spot with electricity supplied. We will highly recommend this Boondocking spot.
We stayed one night with Marcel and Francine and very much enjoyed our chatting on their back porch. The site was level and we really appreciated being able to have hydro. Very beautiful property! Loved their dog Dakoka.
We also appreciated the recommendation of seeing the burned Church 2 kms from their home as well as the information about Hwy 30 which by-passed Montreal. (We were on our way to Shediac, NB).
We'd recommend this boondocking site to others.
Richard, Maddy (and our dog, Teddy).
Marcel and his wife were not home when we arrived, as they had to make an emergency trip to the hospital in Ottawa. They left a note on the door indicating when they would return and where to park. We spent a little time talking to them in the evening and then quite an extensive conversation the next morning before leaving. They have a lovely friendly dog, Dakota, so we got our "doggie fix" also. Great hosts.
We connected by email and exchanged several letters. The property is beautiful and Marcel and Francine (and Dacota) were very friendly.
I would recommend marcel any time.
