I can offer electricity (20 amp) and water for overnight stays....It is 20 amps, you just can’t choose that when managing your profile. We have a paved driveway, nice, flat and quiet... We have had a 32 foot toy hauler and a Class A motor home with toad along side our driveway with no problem. Short distance (5 miles) off I-85 (Exit 76 from south or Exit 79 from north) in Rowan County, NC. About 30 minutes to Charlotte Motor Speedway. Because of high stress jobs, when we travel with our truck camper, we go WAY off grid to de-stress. If we don’t answer your stay request, we are probably in an area of no cell service or have our phones off until our return to regular activities. Travel safe! Suggested Local Attractions:We are about 30 minutes from the Charlotte Motor Speedway. About 5 minutes from Dan Nicholas Park. About 45 minutes to downtown Charlotte and about 20 minutes to Lexington, home of the best BBQ in the country!

Location

Access Road Conditions: One spot would be OK for long 5th wheel or travel trailer, along side or on our paved driveway. The other spot would be in my back yard, if it hasn't rained and softened the ground. Less than 26' rig in total would be best here, you must pass through a 118" wide gate (straight shot, no obstructions)or, a class C or truck camper can just drive in and turn around. This is where a generator could be used, although electricity may also be available here if we are not heating our greenhouse. Asphalt paved road, easy backup into my driveway which is also paved and level. We may have you park on grass alongside the driveway or on the driveway. Pets MAY be OK if they are not aggressive or barky and you pickup after them..... No low hanging branches, no tight turns...easy! Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Room for tow vehicle right on our property

My wife and I love scuba diving, camping, fishing, our Goldwing, good wine and quiet times..... Details: My wife and I are very outdoor people. We both scuba dive, bicycle and ride our own motorcycles. We travel the country by motorcycle and tent camp.... We also love to take our 4x4 with our truck camper boondocking on the beach and into the mountains. We love to fish, I love to hunt deer and wild boar. My wife is an excellent cook and she refuses to cook hamburgers and hotdogs when we camp...gourmet all the way! I have restored a 1966 Ford Falcon and a 1981 Honda CB750K. My wife works right alongside me with these types of projects.... Can build about anything, fix about anything and create about anything.... I love to work with my hands and no project is daunting.... Home Town: Our town has an active downtown area that has many small shops and restaurants. It is 30 minutes north of the Charlotte Motor Speedway and about 15 minutes south of Lexington, NC the home of the BBQ festival every October... Favorite Boondocking Locations: Carolina Beach, NC is wonderful. You now have to make a reservation in advance to stay on the beach, which limits the crowd.... We love camping anywhere! We have stayed in many Pilot truck stops, church parking lots, highway rest stops, abandoned store parking lots, fire service roads...anywhere we feel safe! Skills or Expertise to Share: Been a shade tree mechanic all my life, pretty damn handy with a hammer and saw too. Also done my share of auto body work... Can strip and put a motorcycle back together..and have done it a few times! Overall a handy guy....at least my wife says so!

Great hosts, very prompt in replying to our request and follow up questions. Quiet, shaded spot to park. We accepted offer of electric as we wanted a/c to keep pet comfortable. We had an enjoyable visit discussing travels (past & future). Such a peaceful location, we actually slept-in in the morning.

Great hospitality. Easy access and level parking. They were right that the WiFi isn't great but that's the only thing I could complain about. Other than that it's a good place to stay. Hosts are exceptionally nice and very accommodating.
