From the minute we were met by Richard and directed to our parking spot, we knew we were in for a treat. Richard and Glenda take hospitality to a whole different level, going over and beyond what anyone would expect. They are a treasure trove of knowledge on so many subjects and we have many common interests. They introduced us to geocaching and showed us around the community. Their property is the "real Florida" and they are "real Floridians". We really had such a good time visiting with them, it was hard leaving our new extended family. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks for such a special experience.
We enjoyed to speak about travelling and life experiences. Thank you very much Richard and Glenda.
We stayed with Richard and Glenda 4 years ago and had a great time. We stayed again to see a rocket launch from Cape Kennedy. Again they were so friendly and helpful in guiding us on various routes to get to the launch viewing area. We also went to a great restaurant owned by Larry Csonka, former Miami Dolphins player from the 70's. We would love to host them at our home in Virginia someday.
Great hosts, great location, super convenient to the interstate. Very welcoming, interesting people with tons of knowledge of the area and amazing stories. Truly great experience, highly recommend The Grove and would love to visit again.
We had a great time at the Grove. A beautiful place to be and to visit...and what great poeple we have meet! Glenda and Richard are really fun, have good stories and are very inpsirationnal! thanks!
Wonderful hosts, wonderful location! Quiet, peaceful spot to park in their large yard with water and electric available. Easy access from the highway. Very welcoming to us and our dog. Interesting people with lots of interests and knowledge who shared info on the area, even printed us a map to one site. I don't see how this experience could be topped. ;-) We came away with fruit from their orchard, a large hunk of chocolate cake, and warm memories of getting to know a lovely, lively, interesting couple.
3.5 yrs ago, when we first visited, we thought the Grove's hospitality couldn't be beat. We were wrong as they exceeded it during our recent re-visit. R&G are most interesting folks & sure know hospitality. Many thanx to them for being such awesome hosts !
The Grove was the ideal campsite with the ideal hosts. They’re in a nice quiet farming area close to all the attractions of the Space Coast. But what made our stay so special and longer than we had planned was that our hosts went out of their way to accommodate us. They even have a tape recording of frogs to create more ambience. They are a delightful couple and the highlight of our trip so far.
They were very kind and welcoming. They took us on a tour of their citrus grove, allowed us to refill our water, and shared many adventurous stories! They also were very helpful in providing information for our visit to their area for things to do and see. We really enjoyed our time with them and would like to visit again!
In addition to providing convivial conversation and a wonderful parking spot near their citrus grove, the hosts have lots of information on area activities. We went to Kennedy Space Center and Canaveral National Seashore during our several-day stay in early February. Lynda and Robert in Campervan Zephyr
Ever been at a citrus grove? Been picking your own there? Being invited to blend with the local community when boondocking? Not we! This place has it all. With lots of space and facilities. And above all, Richard and Glenda are the perfect hosts. Helpful and considerate. We felt more than welcome. Thank you, THE GROVE. Never forget you!
Guylaine and I had the pleasure of boondocking at The Grove's home/orange grove for 3 nights. What a wonderful experience. The tour of the orange grove was very educational. There is a very interesting fact about the sour orange tree that is quite intriguing. The location is so peaceful. They were very kind to us. He repaired the mirrors on the Roadtrek which involved re-tapping the support screw holes. The mirrors now operate better than the day they left the factory. She gave us a couple tips for our visit to the Kennedy Space Center. We learned alot, laughed a lot and very much enjoyed our stay. Absolutely wonderful people. Thanks so much. Guylaine & Padhraig
Outstanding, Excellent, Superb, Wonderful, how many adjectives could I use. Beautiful quiet surroundings, wonderful hosts and could not be treated any better if I were at any 5***** resort anywhere. Take care my friends and I will see you again!
If I tell people how thoughtful, kind and generous you two are... if I tell them about your stunning, spacious, setting and optimal location, we'll, I'm concerned you'll get overrun!
Wonderful Experience! Kind People, 5 Star*****, enjoyed learning about Citrus and the beauty of the Florida Flora and Fauna~This is real Florida, Citrus country living. Thank you! Paula
What an introduction to boondockerswelcome! This was our first experience, and The Grove have far, far surpassed our expectations. Their effusive warmth, consideration and hospitality were amazing. The location is quiet, their citrus grove tour exceptional, and their stories fascinating. We can't imagine a better experience. Just very, very nice, 'real' people.
We enjoyed our stay at The Grove's place so much. They showed us around their beautiful citrus Farm, it was amazing. Thank You so much. All the best for You...

Very interesting place, our host explain with passion all about orange grove. It's a quiet place. Thank you Richard and Glenda.
This is our second time staying with the Grove. Had a nice time catching up with them and learning more about Florida. They are wonderful hosts, easy going, friendly, and generous with their time. If you happen to stay, ask Richard about his homemade mouse trap and his GPS holder for the boat. We hope to stay with them again when we are in the area.
Warm and helpful you won't go wrong by staying here. The kind of peopel you would like to have as friends back home. If you are in the area be sure to stay with them if you can.
Glenda & Richard are superb hosts-bar none!! The memorable time we spent with them last year brought us back this year. They made us feel like family. Kind and thoughtful, their knowledge of the area is immense and exciting! We will definitely be returning.
We miss them already and would love to return someday!!! Thank you for such a wonderful time!!
We spent a very enjoyable two nights with our hosts Richard and Glenda. We got along very well with them with interesting conversation as we had many things in common. They were extremely helpful giving us useful information about our intended visit to the Kennedy Space Centre. We also enjoyed tasting the citrus fruits from The Grove. Thanks a lot to you both.
Richard and Glenda are a wonderful couple. We had a great time once again. We felt so welcome. Wonderful to share meals and great social time. Hopefully some day you may come to Canada. Your friends Joan and Murray
We just spent 2 nights at The Grove and had a delightful time. Our hosts were so much fun and couldn't do enough for us The facilities were excellent as was the hospitality. They set the bar very high for other boondockers locations. We hope to return some day and hear more of their stories.
I stayed with Richard and Glenda this past week, and had a wonderful time. Thanks so much!
I couldn't have felt more welcome - from Richard's guiding me to the camping spot to Glenda surprising me with a birthday cake and candle. Add to their warm hospitality and generosity a wonderful mix of travel and sailing stories, a tour of their orange grove and workshop and a beautiful Florida setting. I didn't want to leave ! ! And knew I would miss their warmth and support when I was back on the road again. I'll certainly come back ! !
Richard and Glenda were wonderful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were made to feel most welcome. Their facilities are very nice for boondocking. We look forward to visiting them again when we are in the area. Pete and Carol.
We spent 4 wonderful days w/ Richard & Glenda & would have enjoyed staying much longer. They are incredible hosts -interesting, entertaining, gererous, friendly, informative, & fun. Told them we'd submit a negative recommendation so they wouldn't be constantly booked but couldn't bring myself to actually do so. Hope there will be room for us on next trip to FL. BTW they grow the sweetest citrus I've ever tasted. Many thanx to R&G !!!
Richard & Glenda are wonderful people they helped us get around and showed us some of the area sites and gave us a tour of their grove which their cute little dog joined us on We found them to be polite, warm, and accommodating They also welcomed our pets which made a very relaxed stay-- we stayed with them for 4 nights and became good friends We would recommend them highly and will look forward to staying with them again
Richard and Glenda are some of the friendliest people that we have ever met. They were so accommodating and interesting. They showed us their orange grove which is very interesting, as well as other local sites. They gave us helpful information on touring the Canaveral National Seashore. I hope I can return the favor by hosting them sometime.
The Grove is a friendly welcoming spot. Glenda and Richard are perfect hosts. They are so warm and welcoming. We came for 1 night and stayed for 3. We had lots of fun with several new experiences, telling stories and developing a new friendship. Thanks for a great time and hope our paths will cross again. Joan and Murray
I had the privilege to stay at "The Grove" for two nights, just left them this morning. It was my first boondockers experience so I wasn't sure what to expect, Richard and Glenda exceeded my hopes. They are the nicest people, and I am so glad I got to meet them and spend time with them. Thank you both again, for the wonderful visit.
Friendly and hospitable couple whose orange grove location is perfect for visiting the Kennedy Space Centre and Canaveral National Seashore. Lots of local knowledge which they were happy to share. Bing invited to a rural Thanksgiving with their friends and family was the icing on the pumpkin pie!
