Have you stayed at this host location?
Leave a reference for this hostWe have one spot for a smallish rig, less than 25 ft. It is on the street which is sometimes busy. It is not completely level and would require leveling blocks. We have parked our rig there easily. I wish we had a better spot but that's the way it is! Slide outs are not an option due to the limited space. We are about 15 miles north of Seattle, the nearest public transportation hub is a mile + away for easy access to the city. We don't request a fee for hookups unless you plan on using air conditioning for extended periods.
No smoking in our home
No generators after 9PM
2 night stay but we can also see how things go. We like friendly people.
Back yard is fenced for dogs but pick up the poop!
Easy access but it can be a busy street during commuter hours.
Extra cars only, we only have the one level-ish spot for a trailer parallel to the street.
Home a lot this coming year, we might be in and out during holiday times. Water is available.
Wineries, Breweries, Lake Washington, Burke Gilman bicycle trail, St. Edward State Park, Seattle (15 miles away, fairly easy transit options)
It was a pleasure to meet this couple. In spite of COVID, they managed a way for us to visit, bringing out chairs and tea so we could socially distance outside. They welcomed our dogs and offered their fenced-in backyard for them to run free. We had a really nice conversation; very interesting and pleasant folks. Hope they will visit us at Goatberry Farm If they travel to Massachusetts.
We had such a good time with Jill and Thayer. They are amazing hosts. They helped us with backing in their spot and get our RV leveled. We also had nice talking with them and they took us out to show what Helloween is like in the US. If we are in this area again one day, we would definitely stay with them again. Stefan & Rebecca.
Our host welcomed us into their home and we immediately felt like family. We really enjoyed spending time with them, our personalities meshed quite well. They are a dynamic couple where generosity comes easy and freely, sharing their talents and experiences, offering much more than we expected. The location is nicely situated close to Seattle. We hope to keep in touch and see them again here or on the road sometime. Another great experience with Boondockers Welcome!
We had a warm welkome and a fine conversation about a lot of things. Although along the street we slept very well. Also the Information about the dump-station at the rest area worked out fine.
Brought back our RV and went to airport/carhire by bus and light rail.
Thanks
This couple has been very welcoming and generous to me especially since I had a major issue with my camper and they went out of their way in assisting me to remedy the situation. I shall be forever grateful and highly recommend them as a host location.
What a great time I had at this place!!! Met one of my former BD hosts & partner too, who came through town and stayed at this location, so that was a nice surprise! Great and long talks, good humor and a nice dinner and they helped me out fixing some technical issues with my roof vent too. By far one of the best experiences I had on BD and proof how amazing this website and the community is! I very much hope to come back one day or meet somewhere on the road. SAFE travels! :-)
A wonderful stay with these terrific folks at their comfortable location near Seattle. Jil is active with the Sailing Club on Lake Washington and we spent a lovely afternoon sharing time there with Jil. A fun surprise when a prior guest at my home site arrived and we all enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner at our host’s home. Great camaraderie and a good time had by all.
Jstewart57 was extremely helpful and worked hard to accommodate us, even though they were not even home! Thank you!
They were so warm and welcoming and I enjoyed getting to find out about their RV adventures— amazing book!!! My dog Fela and I had such a lovely stay (Fela was a huge fan of the back yard!). I really enjoyed exploring the area via the nearby bike trails. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
Thanks for letting me stay!
Jill and Thayer where awesome hosts that took us in and helped us plan our trip!
Fully recommend staying with them!
Jill and Thayer were great! They were so kind and generous - they stayed up late to greet us as we came in at nearly 10 p.m. at night. They helped us to level our RV and even offered electrical hookup as well as invited us in. We will definitely go back again.
We had such a nice stay and the hosts made us feel really welcome. They had wonderful suggestions about how to make the most of our stay. You park close to the street, but it is not heavily traveled. We slept great!
We appreciate the warm hospitality, friendly conversation and convenient location. Thank you for making our first BW experience so pleasant! Happy Trails!
Such a nice couple helping us get set up with enough leveling blocks and providing water and electric. We enjoyed a dinner and sharing our blogs with each other. They allowed us to leave our trailer there while visiting my brother in Seattle, which was a huge help. Would definitely recommend a stay here!
We really enjoyed staying here. We even walked over to some shopping Malls and restaurants. We also had some nice conversations on many subjects.
Very nice folks with big hearts. We has dinner and talked for hours. If you stay with them you will have a good time.
Jill and Thayer are fantastic hosts -- so friendly and hospitable. They welcomed us with open arms and even taught our one-year-old to walk :) Definitely look Jill and Thayer up if you're in the Seattle area!
