Welcome to Fruitland, Idaho. We are located right on the Oregon / Idaho border, just off of I84. We are about 50 miles west of Boise, Idaho. Idaho and Eastern Oregon offer miles and miles of beautiful country, from high desert to high mountains and western forest. If you are visiting the area, or just passing through, maybe we could help you with your travel plans.

We live on 5 acres on the outskirts of town. Surrounded by agriculture fields but homes and subdivisions within sight. Ontario, Oregon is just across Snake River from Fruitland. Ontario offers a Walmart and most all the services you might need.

House Rules

We would appreciate common courtesy. So far everyone who has Boondocked with us have been wonderful!!

Access Road Conditions

We have a couple different options for parking your RV. They require some tight turns and might require some backing to get turned around. We live down a private gravel lane on the outskirts of town. I am able to maneuver my 36 foot 5th wheel around on our property. Electricity is 15 amp only with extension cord. If you check out our pictures you will see our driveway. The big turn around is about 100 feet by 75 feet so access is not bad, but turning a big 5th wheel around does take some maneuvering. Road into our place is maintained gravel.

Tow Vehicle Parking Details

All parking will be off the road on our property. Our property sits back off the road.

We love to travel ourselves so availability varies a great deal. You just need to contact us to see if we will be available. Winters can be very cold at times, so December through February are pretty iffy unless you just need a place to park overnight. We would love to meet you so drop us a line if you are traveling through our area.

Peaceful Spot, Wonderful Amenities, Better People!

JerryAndSue were such wonderful hosts. I could tell their spot was just so grand, as we were chasing nice weather. Electric and water in peaceful, PEACEFUL farm-type surroundings, on the edge of a little town - a mile across the Snake River to Ontario and all the amenities one would need.

We opted to stay the maximum days here. And they graciously accepted. Hope to return again someday.

Wonderful BW Hosts

We stayed with Jerry and Sue back in November on our way down to Arizona, and again with them last night on our way back home. We were greeted with Sue's effusive smile on arrival which truly told us we were welcome back without any words! These are genuinely nice people and wonderful BW hosts. It was like a reunion with old friends!

Quick and Kind

Quick overnight stay at Jerry and Sue's. Beautiful property on farmland, gorgeous and peaceful. We had a warm welcome and felt very safe and comfortable. Loved the treats! Appreciated their kindness and assistance in getting set up. Kind and knowledgeable couple. Highly recommend! So grateful!

We found a free dump station at the Maverick in Payette not too far.
Propane in Fruitland at the Chevron.
Pilot gas station in Fruitland.

Great Hosts! Great Spot!

We could not find their house number, but once we found out via texting with Jerry that their house was not directly on the street but down a lane, we drove down the lane. Jerry was there to greet us and help us get situated on their property. Jerry then hooked us up to electricity. Above and beyond, Sue brought out a plate of cookies and two blueberry muffins for us and gave us the WiFi password! After dinner, we had a wonderful visit over a glass of wine in their living room. The site, only a few miles off I-84, is located among farm fields, and was very peaceful and quiet. This we hope will be our go-to site on our annual travels between Washington State and Arizona. Highly recommended!

What a welcoming and wonderful couple, they happened to be sick while we were there but still met us outside when we arrived, helped us get in and out, would definitely stop by again!

Just what we needed after a day of driving.

Jerry greeted us as we arrived and welcomed us to his place. Unfortunately Sue was not feeling well so we did not get a chance to meet her. We spend a relaxing night at their place. We heartily recommend Jerry and Sue as hosts.

Peaceful Location & Kind Hosts

Very kind Hosts with a warm welcome and gracious amenities. Beautiful and peaceful spot on their property, overlooking the fields. They were busy with family yet still they accepted my request and welcomed me to their home. Also offered to share some tomatos from their garden. An nice overnight for this solo traveler.
Fully Reccomend them.

Great location and host

This location was easy to find and close to the highway, but far enough off to be very quiet. Jerry and Sue and Sunni were sweet and helpful. Sadie loved being off leash and meeting another old dog. Great hospitality!

Among the Alfalfa

We were greeted with cookies! It is a nice quiet setting among the alfalfa fields, yet very close to a small town for errands. JerryandSue were gracious and helped us on our way as we were traveling through and only stopped for one night.

Beautiful People, Beautiful Home!!!

Did you ever meet someone for the first time and feel deep
inside that you've known them forever?

Well, that was our experience with these two special people.
They greeted us with open arms, a dish of delicious goodies,
helped us set up for the evening, and then invited us to join
them on their beautiful backyard deck.

We laughed, we joked, went from one meaning conversation
to the next with never a lul or dull moment well into the evening.

In the morning they were there again, with muscle and atv, to
help get us turned around and wish us a bon voyage.

It was sad to leave, but we look forward the day when we can
pick up where we left off!!!

Idaho's Best

Jerry and Sue were very gracious hosts. Jerry sent me great directions to their property and our site was very convenient. We sat on their back deck and talked for several hours. Their home is located in between farm fields; very peaceful. A fun time

Snow to the north, snow to the west, snow to the east, somehow These two managed a dry driveway. Much appreciated night and the treats were yummy. Thanks guys.

Very nice couple, really good place to stay

We are very glad to visit Jerry and Sue on our trip to Southern Utah. They let us stay for two nights at their beautiful property in Fruitland, Idaho and even baked for us cupcakes. Tasted very good. If we come back to the area we would be happy to stay with them again.
