We stayed two nights at McLarty Farm and fished at Rondeau and Mitchells Bay. It is a beautiful farm and we were very comfortable and slept well! We had a nice visit with our hosts and would definitely recommend this location! Thanks for hosting us!

Could not of asked for a warmer welcome than we received. Open hearts and smiles all around. The farm is beautifully maintained and a great spot to stay.
We decided last minute decision to spend some time at Rondeau. Ken and Sue last minute accepted our request and we had a wonderful repeat stay. Ken greeted Steve when we arrive and since we had been there before we knew where to go and what to do. Wonderful hosts and a wonderful stay. Thanks again!
Lovely grass area 5 meters to plug in . Fresh air, thanks for having us.
Thanks to the McLarty, our fist boondoking experience was amazing. They were great host. The farm/house is well situated on 401. They gave us map of things to do in the area. Thanks 🙏
Had a lovely visit at the Mclarty farm for our first boondockers visit. The owner met us upon our arrival and made sure we had everything for set up. Relaxing and beautifully manicured farm. We will be back! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful farm with us. We certainly had perfect weather! Sunny, warm and no bugs! Giving is access to your electricity was a godsend, certainly helped keep the trailer cool. Thanks Ken for the free parking tip on how to get into Rondeau. Best of all thank you for visiting us during Appie Hour even is you didn’t snack with us. Can’t wait to come back for another visit.
This was just an overnight visit but I felt really comfortable at this place in the beautiful country site and my hosts were there and available for anything I would have needed. Thanks for everything !
We were welcomed to the property by the hosts (keeping to requirements for social distancing during the Covid-19 outbreak). The property is easily accessible and we were able to fill our water tank. Thank you so much for providing a place to stop for the night when most other options were shut down.
Ken & Sue are very friendly and hospitable. They have a nice property very close to the 401 hwy. Easy in and out. We are glad we stopped for the night and may stop again on the return trip. Thanks a lot for the hospitality.
This was our very first time boondocking and what a wonderfull experience. These folks are very generous of there time and commited to be shure you have a nice stay. First, they were waiting for us in the entrance, then we met. Ken gave me a hand placing my rig while Sue was making my wife confi in there lovely gasebo. We had a drink and chated about everything. Then we went to visit the farm around and we learned things we did nt know about. We came back and went to our own business. The place is so nice and calm, and also very clean. Lots of room for any size rig for shure. Thank's again Ken and Sue. Hope to see you again real soon ! Go Habs Go !! 😄
It's been such a pleasure. Thanks very much!
Sue and Ken's Farm was our first stop cpback home in Ontario after being away for 4 months. Helped us get set up, offered hydro (much appreciated as it was a bit on the chilly side) and right away made us feel "at home".
We enjoyed a good visit over coffee ....with combined farming backgrounds there was no lack of topics.
Thanks for a truly warm "hello".
We had to change our plans due to our concern over soft ground but this Host cared enough to make some changes. Wie will be by again and hope to meet up. Thanks again
Sue warmly welcomed us on arrival. Even though they are very busy with their fall harvest. It's a nice place to stay with lots of room. Close to the 401. Ken met us in the morning before we left. Very friendly couple. Wish them all the best.

We were so well taken care of at the mclarty farm, it felt like a home away from home! The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating, we were blown away! Definitely a great introduction to Canada, I wish we could have stayed longer and we would absolutely stay there again if we are in the area.
They provided us with information about the surrounding area, we visited the nearby “crazy eight barn” and had a 6 pack of their butter tarts that were delicious. The farm property was beautiful and we were able to cook up some apples from their apple tree to add to our dinner. We are back in the states now but we snagged a case of Alexander Keith’s ipa beer for our next stop, drinking one now! Thanks for everything guys!
Great location, beautiful farm in rural Ontario. Hosts were very accommodating.
This was our first Boondockers experience! Wow!
From contact to location it was great! We could see the love and care in this farm!
Thank you Hosts :-)
Contacted McLarty farm at the last minute while traveling between the Niagara and Windsor regions. Quick response and great welcome.
Very nice farm (extremely easy to find) and perfect accomodations for our 38 foot RV, on grass, with 30 amps electricity, WOW !!!
Now about the people: Although we stopped by late september and that it was harvest time, our hosts took the time to enjoy some wine with us and give us full information about farming (very very interesting, and a lot of work) and recommendation for restaurants. .
We stayed there a few days and enjoyed everyone of them.
We highly recommend to stay or host if requested.
Wow! My dog and I pulled into the farm and couldn't believe the huge sea of green grass, trees, crops, and beautifully-maintained farm buildings.
She was right there to greet us and direct us to our parking area by the barn. We hooked up [what a treat!!], and with the chirping of barn swallows in the background, got to know her a little. She is one interesting and busy woman, but she carved out some time for us before she had to leave. We learned the history of the family farm and also learned about barn quilts...who knew??!! Ask her about the beautiful one she created.
A bit later he joined us...boy, there is a lot to know about farming...and a heck of a lot of work!! He also explained the gigantic solar set-up on their property. Then off he went to look after some chores.
We had such a peaceful sleep...watched over by a mama raccoon and her baby peering out at us from the barn. We can't wait to stay with them again...terrific, easy-going hosts!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at beautiful McLarty farm! The pristine farm setting warm hospital made for a memorable & most enjoyable stay. Many thanks. Hope we can return the hospitality in the future :-)

We had a lovely second visit at Mclarty farms. It is just off the 401 highway through Ontario not far from the border with Michigan. The nights are quiet and the parking easy to get into. Thank you so much for having us again.
Suzan and Art
Ken and Sue made us feel most welcome. They gave us a booklet of attractions and a map of the area for us to visit. We look forward to staying with them again.
We had a one night stop at this location. Ken and Sue are wonderful hosts and their farm is a perfect place to stop in South Western Ontario while passing through on the 401. Thank you so much.
Mike and Dee White
Very pleasant people. We enjoyed the museums, nature centers and walking trails in the area while we parked at their farm.
We stayed at Mclarty farm again this winter on our way home. It was nice to see Ken & Sue again - they make us feel so welcome. Their location is very convenient to the highway and from there to our home is an easy drive.
Thanks for putting out the welcome mat and arranging for a snowstorm to remind us it was still winter in Ontario!
Thanks, Sue & Ken for the warm hospitality. Thanks, also, for going out of your way to get brochures of local attractions. If we're ever up this way again we'll be sure and plan on some conversation and coffee in that wonderful gazebo.

We had a delightful stay with Ken & Sue. The facilities were perfect for us. The property is large so there was no difficulty getting turned around with our M.H. and tow car. They are located close to Hwy. 401 so it was very convenient. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and even arranged for their daughter to come and greet us as they would not be home when we were arriving. We hope they will allow us to stay with them in the future.
