Treffybuilt responded quickly to our last minute stay request when another spot fell through, and they were the most thoughtful and gracious hosts. They met us when we arrived to help guide us in backing down the driveway. Later on, they dropped off a huge bag full of veggies from their garden and the boys invited us to ride their big wheels with them. Such fun! The spot wasn't quite level but the hookups were very close by and we were able to block up to level out. Would definitely recommend!
I had a great 1-night stay here on my travels headed to upstate NY. I got here .and the host family greeted me to help me park, offered me some yummy sweet corn, and invited me to their campfire. I had a lovely chat with their oldest son and the rest of the family. Got some great travel advice. Overall I had a lovely stay the day before my birthday. Thank you.
Highly recommend this one the hosts were wonderful and even had a welcoming committee ( the kids).
We arrived in early evening to him returning home from work for the day. Must admit that backing into the driveway is a challenge upon entry otherwise everything else is perfect. We got acquainted with them and learned the specifics of the location. Also she generously shared from the vegetable garden. They have two boys -- preteen age that are friendly conversationalists, energetic and willing to help in anyway needed. He built adult sized "hot wheels" which the boys and dad enjoy a good bit and I found quite interesting. In fact needed an extra day bc of illness and they happily allowed that no questions asked. In the future I'd be honored to have this family stop by our host location until then if in this area definitely
WILL BE BACK HERE.
We were warmly greeted owners of the site and they let us get to the job of setup. Which we appreciated. Talked with them about a few adult hot wheels he built so that he could ride with the big kids. They are both very busy in the summertime but we did get the chance to visit together. The boys are very respectful and well behaved in actions and attitude. We had a couple of opportunities to interact with the boys (without the parents influence) and the boys were just the same--they're well behaved and respectful; talked with both about their many interests. This is evident that these parents have a positive invest allot in their children.
The location is rural with the added benefit of full hook ups---HOW PERFECT.
They are all welcome to our location in middle Georgia anytime but we also feel comfortable enough to return here. :)
Wow! A beautiful farm with many outbuildings, great lawns, big trees and just a very pleasant stay. My hosts were very accommodating. I only used electric but they have water and dump, too. Very rare find. Please stop and say hello!
More than just a quick overnight stay.
Met the entire family and had a great time taking a yard tour, playing games, and talking about boondocking and traveling. Was quickly told where to hook up to power, water and even a dump.
Wow! Felt very welcome and comfortable. Thanks for the great experience.
Wow what amazing hosts and people. We arrived around 5pm and were greeted with friendly open arms. We pulled up to the spot and there was another couple boondocking also so was great to meet others.
We were able to hook up to their electric, fill up our water and use their on site dump!
Once we had settled in we were introduce to their 2 well mannered and polite children. We all had a campfire together, ate s’mores and shared stories and we felt like we had known each other for a long time.
We would recommend this host stay to anybody, so welcoming friendly and homely. Couldn’t thank them enough.
We asked to stay at this location at the last minute and they were more than gracious to allow us to come. By the second day, they let us extend our stay a second night and the second night there were two RV's there, and great company! We had a very enjoyable bonfire that the hosts made where we were all able to get to know each other better. Super friendly hosts, beautiful setting and the perfect stop off location. We hope we get to see them again in the future!
Very friendly and helpful. Great hosts including the youngins! I will visit again if I'm in the area
We were welcomed as we arrived and had a lovely stay. Greeted in the am by some amazing super heroes and our hosts even shared some fresh veggies and eggs from their beautiful farm. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. We would love to revisit and would happily host this sweet family if given the chance.
Our hosts were very helpful upon our arrival, even though they were entertaining guests. We had plenty of room and amenities and loved the location. We were welcomed in the am by a couple of " Super " guys! Left well rested and with fresh eggs and a few veggies. Hope to one day return the hospitality.
There are no words to describe the amazing stay we had with this family! So warm and welcoming, and they do so much to make your stay comfortable. We had some problems with our trailer, and they were kind enough to help us get back on the road safely. Dogs, chickens, and adorable kids... We would go back in a heartbeat! What more can we say, except we look forward to seeing them when they are down our way in Florida, and thank you for a wonderful 2 days!
The hosts were very informative on the area and some fun things to do and see. Beautiful area to visit. The children were wonderful hosts to my children too. 😉 These are great people who I would love to host at my own home in the future!
This has been one of my favorite stops. The family is warm and outgoing. It is a beautiful setting. I would go out of my way to stop here again. The setting is quiet and the company from this family makes you feel like you are coming home.
Even a sewage dump.
Critters all over.
Nice friendly people.
In the country and very peaceful. Lots of chirping birds to listen too. Very welcoming family who made us feel right at home. Enjoyed sitting on their patio last night and chatting.
This was the first stop on our maiden voyage! Our hosts were very gracious, especially considering our late night arrival. We enjoyed our time with them in the morning before we departed, and our kids absolutely loved running around the beautiful property with their little guy! This was a perfect stop on our journey and we do hope that our adventures will bring us back in the future! Delightful couple and very helpful to us newbies! Many thanks to Treffybuilt!
very friendly people, nice and quiet place. Thumbs up!
We were hosted by Treffybuilt, an amazing gardner ,right a harvest time. She shared in abundance the bounty and a quiche and sent us on our way stocked. More over we truly enjoyed visiting with her. The property is breathtakingly beautiful. Highly recommend
We totally enjoyed our stay at their place. It's a beautiful setting in upstate New York in farming country. We took in the Baseball Hall of Fame while there. They had a coffee/sweet roll patio visit that was exceptional. After we left Brian called and warned me of an oil leak. So very considerate. Great folks. Highly recommended to all Boondockers!
