Wayne met us when we arrived and showed us where to park. He lives in the lovely 200 year old house on the property. The site is located in front of the garage. Fairly level asphalt. Water, 15amp and sewer available. The property is beautifully landscaped. Wayne is a gracious host and let us pick raspberries before we left. Thank you! Would definitely return.

we arrived and no one was home,so we went ahead and got settled. It was a little bit of work to get set up, the slope was to are slide side of are rig. when the man of the house showed up he introduced him slef as John Wayne. we had some good conversation and he showed me his truck and sailboat. The property was amazing and Mr Wayne recommend a bakery in town for Coffee and croissants/pastries. We took a motorcycle ride into town and he was right they were amazing. The 3 nights we stayed were quiet and restful just what we needed. Me Wayne went saling the day before we left, so we did not to see him to thank him for the peaceful stay. If we pass through here again I will stay agin

I was in upstate NY for a friend’s memorial celebration. I decided to see what I could find on Harvest Host and found Treffybuilt. I was intrigued because it mentioned that they had a sewer connection along with water and electric, the first Harvest Host member that I’ve seen who offers that. I was greeted by their young son who expertly guided me down the driveway to a spot by the barn. All the connections were easily accessible and the spot was fairly flat. I was set up in a short time. The location is idyllic out in the beautiful upstate countryside. The house and landscaping is beautifully maintained. But the highlight of the trip for me was the family. They were so friendly, helpful and conscientious. It was wonderful spending time with them talking about the home and the property. The owner and his son built many of the structures and you can see they are true craftsmen. I highly recommend Treffybuilt to anyone needing a place to stay in the Leatherstocking region. You won’t be disappointed!
