We were warmly welcomed and hosted at this beautiful spot by the lake. Smooth drive from the main highway The site is very level and they have power and water ready for hook up. So kind! We saw eagles, loons and deer :)
We really enjoyed chatting (from a distance!) and learning about their travels to Mexico. Inspiring!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful property with us
Ralph & Shelley are great hosts. Lovely place and very cool sites. Too bad the weather wasn’t so nice. Thanks again.
Nestled on a lake parked in a blueberry patch listening to loomed. Gracious hosts It was wonderful
Had an amazing stay at this awesome location! These two hosts know how to have a good time. We look forward to meeting up again in the future. They took us to a wonderful restaurant on the lake.
Thank you soooooo much for your hospitality! We wish you safe travels always.
Liked it so much stayed another day. Host`s are super nice people. Would stay again if in the area.
He was so kind to help with my kayak, we had the best visit, and added several birds on our life list!! Paddled to the inlet in the morning, and it was an incredible birdwatching area!!! Thanks !!!!! Thanks also for the info on Mexico!!!
This is our third time here traveling to from Alaska. Each time has been a great experience. Terrific hosts, great spot for the rv and toad. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Beautiful spot overlooking the lake. Enjoyed a great evening sitting Out back and getting to know Ralph. Sorry we missed meeting Shirley. Ralph was a very gracious host and we were very appreciative of having an electrical hook up and water. We have been camping without electric for so long it was quite a treat.
Ralph and Shelley were super nice and welcoming, and so helpful towards us RV noobs. We really enjoyed the campfire and the chats over wine, and the quad bike with your neighbor. It was really cool that your neighbors came to join the party! We felt way more optimistic about the long journey ahead after hearing your stories. And it has been wonderful! Thank you so much Ralph and Shelley for hosting us. Hope to see you again on the way back!
Loons were fantastic. A M coffee on the porch in a rocking chair. Knowledgeable Experienced Boondockers.
We stopped over for one night with really bad weather. Very hospitable hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed. If we pass through again, we will definitely look them up again.
After meeting this fantastic couple on our way to AK, we made it a priority visit our new found friends on our way back to the lower 48. We're glad to call them friends. We can't image them not welcoming anyone with open arms.
Wished we had longer to stay.
Great site Quiet on the lake away from all the traffic.
Loved our morning coffee on the deck .Talked about future trips we want to take They had lots of good advise for us
Stayed two nights on our way through northern BC. Lovely spot, even in the rain. Had some great chats! We now know about an awesome restaurant in the woods thanks to our hosts! Very knowledgeable about RVing, and happy to share their tips and adventures. Definitely recommended!
Cluculz Duo were/are the perfect hosts. Our first trip through British Columbia on our way to Alaska and they couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming. Beautiful spot just a short walk to the lake. The pull-through space was more than we could hope for, easy to get in and out. We would give them the highest recommendation for anyone passing through the area.
We spent three nights with these wonderful people. Thet treated us like family. Also had an afternoon ride on the lake in their boat.If you are in the area and looking for a boondocking spot, look them up. You will not be disappointed.
Stayed 1 night 11th july 2016, had a bit of a fright, when we arrived, & saw it was tight, to enter, our rig is, 40ft, but no problem, they saw us in,&, afterwards, took us out on, the lake on their boat, & made us vey welcome
This was our first boondockers experience and it was a fantastic one. We were made very welcome and so were our dogs. The first evening our hosts provided chips and dip and we had a few drinks around the picnic table (until the thunder and rain chased us under our awning) It was like we found old friends. Many thanks for your hospitality we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were made very comfortable with water and electricity hookups, offers to fish from their dock and a ride in their boat which did not come to pass due to inclement weather. We went out for dinner the last evening at a place on the lake which we never would have found on our own.
Bill and Toni from Campbell River, BC
We stayed two nights with Shelley & Ralph at Cluculz Lake and they simply were wonderful... Welcoming, caring and funny, so we couldn't do anything else than enjoying our stay, their stories and the evenings together at the campfire. They even showed us the lake by boat. @Shelley: Your banana bread was delicious :)! Thank you so much. We had a wonderful time with you wunderful People...
Travelling through BC it was a truly wonderful visit we had with Ralph and Shelley .....great hosts. We had a truly memorable visit and very comfortable stay! Cudos to the Cluculz duo!
We were on the road for over four months - Texas to Alaska. You can imagine the sights! But the best memories are the people. The Cluculz Duo were extremely welcoming and the best of hosts! We feel blessed to have met them. Their location is absolutely beautiful. Simply perfect!
