This Boondocking site is available when we are not there with our Motorhome. A good 1 acre of grass and woods with a pond. 16th Ave dead ends into I 196 and the house is on the Right (South) side of the road. The Van Buren paved trail is on the West side of the property. 3 Miles to the Van Buren State Park or 3 Miles the other direction to the South Haven Pier. Suggested Local Attractions:City of South Haven is a huge tourist area in the Summer time. Easy access to the Beaches around South Haven and the downtown area.

Please leave the place in the same condition that you found it. Last year we had one of our guests that evidently left their dog run freely, dig holes in the yard and did not pick up. Please take care of your pets so we can continue to welcome them.
Location
Access Road Conditions: The driveway is the last one on the right (South) side of 16th Ave just before the road deadends. Recommend Motorhomes unhook in front of the house and then use the turn around to head back down 16th Ave (West) and back into the driveway. If you back in the parking is in the driveway with the house on the passenger side. You can also pull in with a Motorhome but the distance to the 50 AMP power connection will be greater. Driveway entrance is tight but a 40 ft Motorhome fits without any problem. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is room for the tow vehicle to park in front of the RV once it is backed into the driveway

Long time RVer Details: This location is in my Hometown and a place we use sometimes in the summer. When we are there our RV is parked in this location but when we are not there the place is available for boondocking. Home Town: North Las Vegas, Nevada when we are not on the road.

We had a great time staying at this place. The host communicated really well and the spot was beautiful. We enjoyed the bike trail that was a few feet away and drove less than 15 to downtown South haven. Overall a lovely experience, thank you!

We enjoyed the quiet and closeness to Lake Michigan. Afternoons spent under the shade of willow trees next to the pond were an excellent way to cool off. Noise from highway was not a factor at all for us.

This worked great, we wanted a spot to access South Haven and ride the bike trail (which is right there!). As others have said, there is highway noise, but it was very manageable. In the van we hardly heard it, even with windows open.

A very convenient location with modern electrical hook-up. There is road noise from the near-by highway. We very much enjoyed and appreciated our stay. Thank you, we would love to visit again.
