Location

Access Road Conditions: Paved county road just 1.4 miles from the Hwy. Depending on the size of RV or trailer 2 of the spots are pull through without low branches to worry about. The other 2-3 spots have some lower branches and curves to navigate. Two are a bit wet in the spring but fine by June and beyond. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We have a detached garage/shop that is available for parking or maintenance workspace as needed. We also have parking space available outside the garage along the side of the building. The detached garage and the livestock outbuilding on the north west side of the property is where the 15amp hookups are available for a nightly fee. Dump site at Josie Creek for $5 Full water is available at Josie Creek and the hose on the house, water is high nitrates though so do not drink or cook with it unless you have a RO system.

Jennifer is a great host! She had several places we could park and it was level and very peaceful. She even has a firepit that is available and well done around a small pond. Just a lovely stay. Thank you

For an overnight stay on a long road trip, this spot is... well, it's just bliss. We used the 15-amp electrical hook-up, which suited us just fine. Quiet and lovely!

We stayed for 5 days and it was wonderful. Very peaceful area, but close enough to amenities when needed. Our hostess was super nice. The parking area next to the garage was flat and we were able to fit our 45'er with no problem.

Host had great communication. Spot is level. Large, quiet and peaceful property where my dogs thoroughly enjoyed exploring and swimming in the pond. I helped the host out by mowing her grass which is something I’ve come to miss while living on the road. We had a fire one evening and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows for s’mores. Great communication and a wonderful, welcoming host. Be sure to check out Heart of the North greenhouse/brewery in the nearby town of Ladysmith.
