We are third year hosts and have enjoyed meeting our Boondockers. Meeting folks and learning about their experiences in hopes that we will travel more as we grow closer to semi retirement. RVer's are welcome to fill their water tanks while here. Dogs are welcomed but best to have on leashes or lines as there is a great deal of farm land and we are not fenced in. If you need to fill propane tanks, there is locations to trade tanks within 5 miles. Gas and Diesel is also available within about 5 miles (US 50 and US 68 - Fayetteville). We are located between US 50 and SR 131, two miles east of Newtonsville, OH and 10 miles east of Owensville OH. Dump stations are available at 2 local state parks (Stonelick State Park, East Fork State Park) but not sure about process to dump if not staying there on site. We are about 20 minutes outside the I 275 Loop around Cincinnati, 30 minutes to I 71 and 40 min to I 75. Northeastern Clermont county provides a close proximity to: Kings Island (Mason OH), World Equestrian Center (Wilmington OH), Riverbend Music Center and several Casinos. Grocery, Shopping and Restaurants all within 20 minutes. Hospital also within 15 minutes. For quick needs, Dollar General 2.5 miles away. Close to both Stonelick State Park and East Fork State Park as well as Clermont, Clinton, Brown and Highland County Fairgrounds... all in less than 45 minutes. Downtown Cincinnati is about 33 miles west. Suggested Local Attractions:Kings Island, Riverbend Music Center, World Equestrian Center, Casinos, Wineries, Shopping,... Just 20 minutes outside of the Greater Cincinnati Loop (I-275) Cincinnati Zoo, Loveland Miami Bike Trail, Milford & Loveland Village Shops and Breweries, Very close to East Fork and Stonelick State Park for Canoes or Kayaks. Lots of Breweries within 20 minutes.

House Rules

Keep it like you found it. We have had great boondockers so far! We are new to this so no specific rules at this time. Areas available may change depending on weather.

Location

Access Road Conditions: Blacktop Road, Gravel driveway. We live on a township road about a quarter mile from the State Road which is two lane. If you meet someone coming down the road, you will just need to get over as far as possible to let them by. Most folks are used to this since our road is commonly used by farm equipment and a trucking business on the road. We have a large drive to our barn and plenty of room. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: This is a grass and gravel area. Tow vehicles can stay with vehicle. We live in the country so no need to separate unless you want to.

Fellow RVers when not home on the Farm Details: We live in the country and are part of a 3rd generation farm, mostly planting soybeans and corn. Our home backs up to the main part of the farm with lots of beautiful fields between. We have about 10 Acres on our homestead. While we would love to retire and travel all the time or at least to fly south for the winter lol, just not there quite yet. We met several folks through the summer that mentioned this service and we also took advantage of a similar service earlier this year. We have plenty of space and enjoy meeting RVers like ourselves. We hope to continue to travel more but in the meantime, we can meet folks and help to provide a great space on your travels. Home Town: We like to say we live in God's country because we could walk to 5 zipcodes! Rural but in 20 minutes you can get to about anything.

Our time here was short but it was awesome! The kids loved having so much room to run around in and the view of the sunset was amazing!
