We have time to chit chat if you would like. I (wife) work on genealogy and I am always happy to research and talk the talk. It's my hobby since I have stopped riding my Harley and I take care of a grandchild 5 days a week and sometimes a bit on the weekend. My husband is a retired Navy Veteran and is always up for conversation. We love motorcycles, classic cars, genealogy, family and sitting around with family and friends having a fun time.
We prefer no smoking. If you feel you have to have a smoke, please do it in your camper where we will not smell it and no cigarette butts thrown on the ground.
If you need to run your generator for some reason, it must be turned off by 9.
You are welcome to use our deck and our fire pit in the yard - just clean up your trash. We have a blue trash bin by the fence gate into the yard. Place your trash in a plastic bag before throwing it in the bin. If you use our chairs, put them back.
Most importantly, have fun!!!!!
Must negotiate two 90 degree turns. One turning in our neighborhood on Indian Road and one to the right onto Falls Road. Only 2 streets. Look for number 71 on the mailbox post on the right side of the road. Once you are facing our cul de sac you need to pull partially in the driveway to the far left to negotiate a clean backup into our driveway. MUST BACK IN OUR DRIVEWAY. Our driveway has some slight bends. Back down to the side of our garage. There you will see a white sewer access pipe sticking up. We have an outside hose for you to hook up. Electric available inside our garage. Soon there will be a 30 amp on the outside of the garage.
If your rv is over 32 feet we ask that you have a comfort level negotiating 90 degree turns in a neighborhood with not so wide streets and sometimes with cars parked on them in some spots along Indian Road. If it's a tall rv, let us know. We have a tree we might need to trim a few branches up. There may be some rvs we are unable to accept due to location of slide outs and position in our driveway.
YOU CAN CONTACT US SAME DAY IF NECESSARY BUT KNOW WE MAY NOT BE PREPARED RIGHT AWAY IF WE ARE RUNNING ERRANDS, ETC. OUR RV (28 ft) IS PARKED IN THE SPOT UNLESS WE KNOW YOU ARE COMING. There is enough room for you to park in our cul de sac until we arrive. CELL IS 302-528-3366. BETTY ANN
Our driveway is long enough and we have extra spots on the other side of the driveway. There is also an area on the street for a tow vehicle.
Available most anytime unless we decide to take a trip ourselves. You can call for same day.
If was such a thing, they would have a 5 star rating for sure! Our hosts went out of their way to extend hospitality at every turn. We arrived in the evening and were immediately met with pleasant conversation and kindness. After we were shown where to park and set up, we sat on the porch for a couple of hours of chit chat before turning in for the night. Parking and set up on the driveway was simple enough, the space designated for us was more than adequate. Even though they are super outgoing, we seemed to have a lot in common which made conversation easy and comfortable, we even know some of the same people! The property is very well kept and it was perfect for my dog Frank to wear himself out playing with their dog Bear. A++
We had a wonderful time. The hosts are so kind and welcoming. There home and grounds are just beautiful! It was a fantastic stay...
Where do I begin....We were privileged to be the first guests at this BW location! At first I didn't know if they were going out of their way to make us feel welcome, but soon learned they are just great folks!!!
Warm & inviting being welcomed into their family...friends forever for sure. Would love to visit my new friends again!
15a electric did work on my TT for AC. Didn't do it till the 3rd night as I was nervous. I was assured it would work & went for it. No extra cord needed. Is a dedicated outlet.
Hooked up water no problem with 1 hose.
Had stinky slinky & extra 10 ft to make it to dump. It went a bit uphill and needed a little help to drain out. I drained water 1st day, closed all up, then drained all 3rd day. That way I could close the lid.
You can work it out easily.
A long, slightly curved driveway to back up into and glad I had my friends guided me. All went well.😊
Nice of them to allow my pup roam the fenced backyard with theirs! So nice to see them get along.🐶🐾
Icing on the cake...my new friend helped me find newspaper articles about my relatives from early 1900's. Sooooo exciting!
Will miss our new friends, but I believe we'll see each other again someday!
Best of luck being great BW hosts! If you treat everyone like you did us, your family tree will be HUGE!!!
