Hippy Holistic Doctor meets retired Army Airborne Ranger Details: My wife and I have retired to our piece of paradise in Virginia. We searched all over the US for two years to find this perfect piece of waterfront with acreage. We enjoy traveling/seeing this great country by RV, visiting back seldom traveled byways. We also enjoy mountain biking, snow skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and motorboating. Favorite Boondocking Locations: too many to list but we have some hidden gems in Colorado. Still looking in other states.

Spent two peaceful, quiet nights here. Didn’t get to meet the hosts as they were busy getting things in order from their own recent travels. Beautiful property. Easy in and out with our 21’ trailer. We had a firepit to use near the shore with wood to burn if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent two nights over my wife's birthday. With a bottle of champagne and cake we sat on the Host's dock and watched spectacular sunsets reflecting over the water. The site is remote but worth it. The access is easy and it is quiet. Their grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet the Hosts, they were traveling. But from the phone conversations I know we would have liked them. We heartily recommend this Host. Pete and Pat MacRae

Karen and I both agree this has been the most beautiful HH/BW site we have visited so far. Sunsets over the water were spectacular!

We stayed here over the weekend and loved the peacefulness and quite. This is without a doubt a great place to stop. John was very prompt with all communication and everything went great. The only close call was bringing our 40' class A down the long drive and into the parking area. Made it without any problems.

We stayed for the whole weekend and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The fishing off the dock was awesome and made for a enjoyable fish fry that night. You couldn’t ask for a better location to relax at. Thanks again for letting us stay at your home.
