Shooting Star Sanctuary and Retreat is a place to enjoy goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, two ponds, and nearly 100 acres of hiking and mountain biking trails. There is a beautiful outdoor kitchen provided that includes a gas grill, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric hot water kettle, hot plate along with pots/pans and some basic pantry items. There is also a bathroom and shower available. These lovely amenities are situated 30 minutes from Yosemite National Forest. We have met so many amazing people as they pass through and would love to have you visit our little slice of paradise. Farm chores and different animal experiences are also available.

Lovely place, kind people.

Jason and his family were warm and welcoming. The place is peaceful with amazing views. The variety of animals they have rescued is admirable, we enjoyed learning about them. We will stay again one day...
