Description

Our home is on a main road in Fort Kent, Maine is in town limits & backs up to the Fish River, This long winding, clean river runs south to north here, connects up about 1/2 mile north, with the St John’s River, which is shared with the USA & Canada. Many tubers, kayaks, canoes & rafters take the run south of us to points in town where you can get out of the river. It has very gentile small rapids, appropriate for all skill levels. Best of all, our property goes right down to the river so access in & out is easy for us. And the views, words can not adequately describe how bucolic & beautiful it is.
Ps. The night sky’s are magnificent, especially during Aurora Borealis season.
PSs. Dump station in town for a $10 fee.
