We have a nice level neighborhood right outside the Pax River Navy base. A mostly level driveway, best for a class B, camper van, or travel trailer. Street parking also available. 15amp hookup and water hose available in driveway for fill up only-- it leaks, so we can't allow full hook up. Verizon works great here, but Sprint/T-Mobile don't seem to get signal, so if you need the Wi-Fi password feel free to ask! There is a fish pond (Mudbunny Pond) in the front yard. It may be seasonally covered, but if it is not feel free to sit down and see the fish; kids love to feed them their fish food. Lawn chairs welcome in the yard, we have a fire pit in the fenced backyard you are welcome to set up some chairs and have a campfire. Pets welcome, we have a nice neighborhood with an easy rectangle walk around. We do have the fenced backyard, but please ask case by case basis for offleashing as we have a cat and both neighbors have dogs. Please always pick up after your pets. Suggested Local Attractions: Great location near Gate 3 of the base. Beach not far, shopping and restaurants within 10mins. Farmers Market 1mi away Saturday 9-1, Wednesdays seasonally. While you're here: try the local delicacy, Southern Maryland Stuffed Ham (we suggest from Chiefs or McKay's). Age:

30-45

Explorer Details: 30-something explorer of the world; love journeys but I am pretty partial to my beautiful USA. I have 30+ countries, 49 States, and 3 destroyed backpacks. Enjoying a mini-midlife-retirement until I go back to work with the DoD. Often travel with my mom, the travel trailer is hers. By myself, I usually stick with my boots, sometimes a car. Home Town: Lexington Park, MD Favorite Boondocking Locations: Honestly, we mostly stick with Walmarts because we don't use the toilet (We CAN, it works, just don't want to, yuck) so we like having a restroom nearby. When we camp or stay with a host, you will notice we are gone for a half hour or so each night to find a restroom before bed :p Skills or Expertise to Share: Wilderness skills. Budget travel skills. I'm not bad at mini golf.

What a great state! The two sisters were welcoming and very helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and the their yard is landscape beautifully. They also gave us great tips on where to visit. Highly recommend!

A little late posting this. I enjoyed meeting the two sisters ladt week. I parked my rig in the driveway while I visited family in the area. They we so helpful and sweet!! They provided an adapter for me to plug into their house so i could keep my fridge running. I bought them flowers and jellies to say thank you and gave a bit of money for a bit water. I will be back if in the area again! Im sorry, I forgot to take pictures:(

Some might say, "Wow that is pretty far down there. What could possibly be there?" Well, these three wonderful hosts will fill up your day with so much! I had my first Stuffed Ham Sandwich (yea it is a local thing). Ended my two day stay with smores around the campfire! Whew! Cool, cool stay. 48statesin48months.net
