This quiet family farm is close to everything along the shoreline of South Eastern Ct. Check out the beaches, hiking trails, historical attractions, or charming old towns. Happy to give you suggestions! The farm also has a larger pond you can paddle around on (but it's small) and 2+ miles of trails in our woods. Hike/paddle/swim at your own risk. Suggested Local Attractions: Mystic Seaport, USS Nautilus, Fort Trumbull, Fort Griswold, the Book Barn, On the Waterfront (restaurant), Deviant Donuts, Clyde's Cider Mill, etc

Location

Access Road Conditions: Up a smooth and wide asphalt milled drive, that has one steep hill. For smaller rigs only, you'll back into the space but then pull out down the main drive. If you choose to park by the house you may have to back down a slightly narrow hill before you can turn around on the grass below. Check with us to see if this is an option, we may be storing a boat for a friend and have limited availability near the house. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Rig and Tow vehicles can park on a side grassy driveway next to a small pond right off our main driveway. It's very private here, but you will hear the chickens. Alternatively, you can choose to park up near our home but be advised we have 2 young children and a dog who is very friendly. It won't be nearly as private, but you can plug into the regular 110 power at the garage if you need minimal power- can't run too much or you will trip the breakers. You need to be ok with a not-leashed farm dog around if you park at the house. (Note: this may or may not be available)

Young Family on Rustic Farm Details: Mom, Dad and 3 kids live on a quiet forested farm. We love the outdoors and are highly invested in the food we eat. We started this farm in 2017 to be conscientious consumers of plants and animals, and give our family the best life possible on a large, glorious secluded acreage on the shoreline of Connecticut. When we aren’t exploring America we love to come back home and can’t wait to share it with you! Home Town: Quaker Hill, CT Skills or Expertise to Share: We can share knowledge on raising sustainable livestock, bees, homeschooling and blacksmithing.

Great communications and quiet spot to rest. Brian is amazing, he greeted us immediately and began helping us with our need for electricity. In the morning, our vehicle would not start. Brian came right out and gave us a jump and got us on our way. Many thanks to these kind folks.

This was our second time staying at Quiet Farm. And yes it is quiet and nice, tucked away in the woods. The host is a great communicator and does his best to accommodate his guests. We love the area and we'll return.

We enjoyed meeting this nice young family trying to reclaim their ‘new to them’ farm. Parking spot is tight, but works for a small rig. Watch out for lots of poison oak, but a fun family to meet. They also had great recommendations for local stops. Abbots for lobster and Clyde’s for donuts and cider is a must.

Awesome host allowed us to arrive late. Had no issues finding the place with the directions given. Nice, quiet place to park by a pond. Highly recommend!

Parked my travel van next to the pond. No street lights no car horns no traffic drone. Great place to stay
