Location
Access Road Conditions: Asphalt country side road to our hard packed gravel driveway. Mind the horse and buggies that frequent the road right outside our place and on the way here. Tight 90 degree turn to enter driveway but lots of room on either side. There are 30 foot cedars either side of driveway and all along road edge excellent for privacy. But well trimmed back on both sides of access to accommodate any rig. Highly suggest backing in and it is fairly easy to do so. Just a tighter turn than in most cases. But very doable. most of the low branches have been cut back and there are remaining on west side of the rig parking area that may need a little trimming from time to time. Lots of room to move away from them and from 1pm or so the area is mostly shaded. That is why we leave the trees as they are. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: One acre lot with ample parking for a tow vehicle of pretty much any length.

Host Mike is very gracious and helpful. Real good location in the extended driveway, it's even level. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Loved our stay with Mike . Although he was busy working on his beautiful property, once work was done, Mike spent a wonderful evening with us. But the best time was spent watching our dogs and his beagle play together.

Nice quiet road. Great biking opportunity with Kawartha Dairy cone as a goal. Had entertaining chats with our hosts and played with their dogs. Enjoyed watching the Sunday morning parade of horse drawn carriages heading to church. Lovely time all around.

Mike accepted our request to stay on very short notice, which was most appreciated, and gave us excellent instructions to find his location. He helped situate us nicely and also assisted in the turn around when we left. If he and his wife hadn't been leaving the next day for a trip of their own, we are sure we would have had more time chatting with them. Lovely folks! Would definitely recommend!
