We are 5 miles from downtown Mountain View, AR on a state highway. There is almost always live music in town somewhere. After all, this is the Folk Music Capital of the World. Our host location is down by our barn with lots of shade. There is a chimenea beside the site. We usually have firewood available. You will definitely want to ride around for a bit, because the scenery is awesome no matter which way you go around here. Suggested Local Attractions:Mountain View, AR is known as the Folk Music Capital of the World (courthouse is 5 miles from our house). Ozark Folk Center is 6.3 miles away. Blanchard Springs Caverns is 18 miles. The White River access is about 10 miles. Loco Ropes is out by the Folk Center. There are a couple of nice restaurants on the river about 10 miles. We enjoyed an excellent stay here. Went to the Folk Music Festival and after a great recommendation from our new friends and hosts Dennis and Jackie we checked out Blanchards Springs Caverns. It was awesome and we highly recommend to anyone coming to the Mountain View area. Although we did not need it our hosts had water and electric readily available. Hosts were very personable and friendly. If you need dump facilities they are available for free at Blanchard Springs Caverns campground. 3 bars Verizon 5g at this host site.

If there were more star ratings they all would be filled in. My stay at D & J's was very comfortable. Starting with a warm welcome and making me feel right at home. The parking area at the barn is level and the water and electric are close by. There is a woods road for stretching the legs and a sitting area. I experienced the eclipse here, music in town, mountain biking and a hike. Hope you get to meet these wonderful hosts.

This was the perfect spot. Not because it was in the path of totality, but because of the host. They are kind and generous. The nearby town is a delight. We ate dinner at one of the host recommend restaurants, JoJo’s which was delicious and has a river view. We hope to return. The parking was easy but did require backing up if you need electric, if not they have a nice area to pull thru. There is a wonderful private trail, which was an added bonus.

Dennis was a wonderful host who made us feel very at home. He is a joy to talk to and they have a lovely property. We will hopefully be staying there again next time we are in Arkansas!
