Seven grandkids but still traveling America as much as we can Details: We have been in the Gift Shop business for many years. Home Town: Brainerd Lakes area in Minnesota is where we were born and where we live. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We love to travel the backroads of America. Skills or Expertise to Share: Antique clocks has been a passion and clock restoration has become a part time profession. It's hard to get Kay away from our gift-shop (which our son manages)

Canceled our stay on the morning of the stay. Our stay was approved 2 weeks in advance. Scrambling to find a viable option.

Mark was the kindest, most generous BW host we’ve encountered yet. We stayed 3 nights here, in the beautiful early summer of Minnesota. Mark has 3 miles of trails on his land, and you’ve got to explore them! So so beautiful. We took his recommendations for visiting nearby Nisswa and the local landing, and they did not disappoint either. We had a couple things we needed to fix on the RV, and Mark was incredibly gracious in letting us borrow any tool we needed. Thank you for an amazing, beautiful stay!

We spent just one night with our hosts, Mark and Kay, but left with new friends! Due to recent rains, we were unable to pull into his yard area that they had set up, but he had use use his wide driveway instead. We have a 37' 5th wheet and had no issues turning it around. Enjoyed walking the trail he has cut on his property and enjoyed the local wildlife. Before we left, we were able to get some good tips from them on our future destinations.

M met us when we arrived, to show us where to find everything, then kindly, purposely left us to back in without a witness, he's so considerate and kind. He told us all the best spots and activities, always with interest, and his big, warm smile. If You're around in the summer on a Wednesday, go see the turtle races in Nisswa. You'll enjoy M and K's lovely spot in the woods.
