Dad, husband, pastor and coffee guru. Canadian living in Ohio. Details: We are a family that just started the RV life. We bought our first RV last fall and went out west. We like the flexibility of the small class B Camper van. Looking for adventure and love the idea of boondocking and exploring. We love to meet new people so this website seems like the perfect place to do that. Home Town: Dalton, Ohio - is a village in Wayne County in Northeast Ohio, with a population of just over 2000. It is a sleepy and relaxing residential town, and is considered to be an untouched tourist area off the traditional Amish tourist path. The village is very well kept and clean but a convenient location to surrounding tourist areas north, south, east, and west of it. We have gas stations, that also have an RV dump right close to our house. A Wendy's and Subway is conveniently located beside the gas station so you can pull your rig in an grab a bite to eat. We have a cute little ice cream shop just down the road and we are conveniently located a 1/2 mile off of RT 30. Whether you are touring Amish country of just passing through on a road trip, we have a nice stop for you. If you want to get out and stretch your legs. The Sippo Valley trail is about 2 miles from our house. You can bike, walk or run the paved trail. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Not yet! Just signed up! (:

After introducing themselves, my hosts were busy with family activities, but I enjoyed a quiet stay in the shade of a beautiful maple. Although close to Rt. 30 and on a secondary highway, the night was quiet and restful. I would stay here again.

Joe and his family have a lovely and shady place to park. We enjoyed chatting about traveling and they have a Roadtrek van as well and hope to travel in it. Great hosts.
