Location
Access Road Conditions: Gravel road less than 1/4 mile and then a gravel drive with slight incline sharp turn into drive, an experienced driver can negotiate the turn no problem. Four wheel truck helpful, motor homes under 35' should have no problem. Some small branches may swipe side of rig I have not had an issue with my 26 foot pull behind. Some locations are not level but only by a small amount, can be corrected with a couple boards. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Because of the loose gravel when turning into the driveway if you are pulling a car with all wheels down, please disconnect the car because the front wheels may not turn to follow the coach, I had that issue when I had a motor home pulling a car. Please disconnect car before making the turn into the drive way. Space and room to turn a rig around once on the property. Trailers more than 32' might not be able to make the turn into the drive. Motorhomes should not have a problem. If there is an issue entering the drive, turn around at the south end of Winston Rd. and approach from other direction as there is a turn out. Once on the property past the gate there is ample space to turn around.

I live on 3 wooded acres near Deleon Springs State Park. Details: I enjoy a quiet, peaceful, simple life. Semi retired single man who is very comfortable with all types of people. I enjoy traveling with my dog Zoey in my 23' Forrest River class b+ RV, especially the Music Festivals at the Spirit of the Suwanee Music Park in Live Oak FL with my brothers. Home Town: Deland is a small charming town with Stetson University in the center of town, a very active downtown with many restaurants with sidewalk dining and bars with live music on weekends. The area is known for its many natural crystal clear springs in the area. Favorite Boondocking Locations: in the early 90s I parked in San Diego at a public park on Mission Bay. Skills or Expertise to Share: Gardening, tinkering with machinery.

Scott was a great host and we were able reserve the site for 3 nights very last minute. Great location for exploring nearby nature preserve and springs in the area. Very quiet area and good road coming in to the property even after heavy rain. Would love to visit again when we're back in the area. Saw several deer near the gate and was hoping to see a black bear but didn't. Highly recommend for smaller rigs.
