Take Exit 35 off Route 3.
We are 16 miles/35 minute drive to Downtown Boston or 15 minute to Ferry port with MBTA public ferry transportation to downtown Boston.
25 minutes to Plymouth Plantation.
Beside very busy residential road with no fence so children & animals would need to be well supervised. Not a lot of traffic at night but starts building up around 5am with people going to work. Slow Wi-Fi, it’s ok to watch Netflix but not Gaming.
Easier to get into spot if you pass the house & turn around and then enter 1st entrance to drive by cars & straight into spot. We park our cars where the Septic system is as the weight of a motorhome would damage it.
We have a pool that guests are welcome to use when opened (not opened this summer 2021) absolutely no children under aged 18 in pool without 100% adult supervision.
Probably a good stop over if on route to Cape Cod or you would like to visit Boston or Plymouth Plantation. 15 to 20 minutes from several beautiful beaches.
Very busy 2 lane residential road 5 minutes off RT 3. Traffic noise starts up around 4am on weekdays, not as much on weekends but still busy all day.
It is possible to move small rocks on my property to enter from a road directly across which I’ve done several times. Entrance is easier coming from the south side as other entrance has lower tree.
Parking spot is on a stone driveway to the front/side of my house. A 27ft and was able to enter & park no problem. There is room for a lot longer as long as you can get in.
We do a few last minute trips but space is available to use if we are not here.
I have requested 24hr notice just because I may not see your email for same day, but feel free to request same day stay and we certainly will accommodate if we see your email and nobody is staying.
Boston, Plymouth, Beachs
Had a great time visiting some nearby sites, convenient to Boston also, more to see hope to
Be back next year.
Enjoyed sharing travel stories over breakfast.
Maybe I will see Ccarty this winter in Florida .
Good location! :) We were able to easily visit Boston and also venture out to Cape Cod. The host is super friendly and gave us some great recommendations. As others have said the spot is tricky to get into and the road is pretty busy/noisy… so take that into consideration before you go.
We never met the host, but overall excellent place. highly recommended.
We stopped here for 2 nights on our way to visit my daughter. Ccarty was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this stay!
This space is literally feet from a very busy road. It’s also a little tough to get in/out of unless you’re very confident at navigating your vehicle(s) and backing up. The hostess is quite nice and personable, though there were cars blocking my way to get into the driveway. (Despite me sending multiple messages that I was on my way and getting back acknowledgment.) In fact, even when I was literally in the driveway with my tail end sticking out in the road, there was still a van blocking my way. They just stood there and looked until I explicitly asked them to move the van.
For the area, this is about the best you can hope to find. Hence the neutral rating.
Was great to be close and safe.
Road a bit noisy but got used to it and was great.
Very courteous host. Knowledgeable and has may recommendations for you to get the full experience. She was not feeling good when we left. Wishing her all the best and hope she is doing great! :)
We had a great stay and were given many helpful ideas of places to see and things to do. Our host was so kind and willing to help with anything we needed. The parking spot is next to a relatively busy road, but we weren’t around much during the day so it didn’t bother us. We would love to stay again if we ever make our way to the area again.
