Our one acre lot is in a very quiet residential area on the northwest side of the Denver metro area. Well water is available.....The water is safe to drink but doesn't taste real good. It is good for household use. Visitors can plug in if they choose.
Paved, flat roadway and a flat, circle driveway. Easy access from I-70 to our house.
Since retiring, we've been traveling quite a bit. Send us an email to find out if we'll be around and can accommodate your travel plans.
Our home is a nook of the country in the NW Denver metro area.
We arrived around 7pm and we were greeted by Jan. They have a beautiful home and property. Despite the hot day our parking spot had been in full shade for a while and it was quite comfortable.
Water and a 15 amp extension cord were waiting for us also. The grass was wonderful and the driveway gates can close creating a great off leash area.
It was wonderful hearing about their travels and future travels.
Thank you for a great stay!
Excellent host. Jan is so accommodating and the property is gorgeous. We didn’t know “the country” existed in Denver! She was happy to let us come and go, and the extension cord was right there waiting for us. Paved, circle driveway with a well landscaped yard. Our doggo was right at home too! Would definitely stay again.
J & K were such great hosts. We received prompt reply for our request. Jan was very communicative over the email.
Location - is not far from downtown Denver.
Hospitality was warm and welcoming. Received many contributing advices about Alaska and RVing in general.
Hope to meet them again in our land or in Co.
Host was friendly and accommodating, and the site itself was in a quiet, idyllic setting. Our dog was able to run around to her heart's content in the spacious front yard. Nothing more we could really ask for, and we highly recommend staying at this spot while you're in the Denver area!
This was my first opportunity to use Boondocker's Welcome and couldn't have been happier with the experience. I'd already stayed a few weeks in the Denver area but had run into time limits at the campground I was at, and of course, came down with a cold/flu as my time expired. I was over the worst, but felt I wasn't ready to get back on the road south-so the day before I had to leave I sent JanJack a message and received a reply in a couple of hours that I was welcome to spend a couple of nights with them. It was exactly what I needed. Lovely house and yard - feels like country with cows, horses and chickens all around, but it's still in the suburbs. Nice street to walk the dog and our hosts simply couldn't have been more gracious. I felt so much better after I left. Ready to face the next leg of my trip. I wish I hadn't been sick so we could have talked more as they have tons of great stories. Electric was great, flat parking, and if and when I'm back through Denver will look them up again. As we say in the south "good people". Thanks again!!!!
In less then 5 hrs of my first email. I was parked, plugged in and comfortably out of the rain. There response time was incredible and both hosts were very kind. I am greatfull that this world has people like these hosts.
We received a positive response to our request within hours. Planned on one night but because of the recommendations by Jan we stayed an extra night. Could not have been better. Thanks Jan.
What a perfect break on the long drive home (Utah to Ontario). Enjoyed a peaceful night and, above all, we loved meeting JanJack. Their adventures since retirement (and plans for more) would inspire anyone. They're perfect hosts and we welcome them as guests to our home any time.
