5 acres on a private airstrip. Prefer responsible, gainfully employed or retired people. This a quiet private community. Spots are ideally suited to those looking for a couple of days of relaxation away from the maddening crowds.
No generators as power is available. Large and small dogs are fine as long as they are cleaned up after. There are resident deer on the property and I would like them not to feel threatened with dogs possibly barking or threatening them. There are hundreds of acres with great walking trails just out of my driveway you are welcome to use for on or off leash purposes.Love children but they must be as well behaved as your pets should be.
Excellent 1 mile gravel road
Elsewhere on property
Spend quite a bit of time on the go but home quite often also. Hopefully your travel plans and mine don't coinside. I do have enough room to accommodate an additional rig should you be travelling in company with someone else, The specifics can be agreed upon on a case by case basis.
Mt. St Helens, Mr. Rainier Natl. Park, White Pass, Mt Adams, Gifford Pinchot Nat'l Forest. Cowlitz River, Skanewa Lake and Cowlitz Falls Campground are only about a ten minute walk away.
Another great stay at Serenity! Be sure to check out the trails nearby.
Very cool place to stay, close to Mt. Rainier (30 miles). Borders a private airfield but it never bothered me. Had peaceful nights sleep. Host is amazing. He makes sure you have everything you need. Stay here if you can!
Flyandmow was such a great host and the accommodations were perfect. The homeowner was so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and downright kind! My stay was too short. I would have loved to have stayed longer and chatted with the Host more, but my next adventure awaits.
Amazing stay and experience. Thanks so much to our host for being a gentleman, scholar, and raconteur. Can't recommend strongly enough.
Really helpful and gave us the best advice for our route from the Columbia River Gorge area. The direct route would have been a rough road and hard to manage with a 30 foot 5th wheel.
Our experience here was absolutely amazing! We had a blast hanging out with the host, Gerry. The views, hospitality and serenity were beyond wonderful. We hope to plan another trip back one day soon, for a loner period of time. We’d recommend this place to anyone, time and time again! Gerry is the best!
My family and I had an awesome stay.
This host was extremely generous and a fun person to talk to. The site he has set up is very private feeling as well as functional and clean. Even has a fire pit with firewood that he chopped himself from a tree he recently took down.
He even came over and sat down with us as the sun set to help us plan the next leg of our trip up to The Olympic NF… down through Oregon to California. He is extremely knowledgeable on which routs to take for the best views.
My children got to watch two aircraft take off from the grass runway while we were there as well. It was a very neat experience.
We will stay again if we are ever in the area. What an awesome person.
The saying Diamond in the ruff doesn’t do Justice for this beautiful location nestled between Mt. Adam, Hood, Rainier and, St. Hellens Our host was the nicest guy and we are going to try and meet up on the road. As well as planning a return trip to his Serenity. Flyandmow Thanks for the conversation and hope to do it again sometime.
Very good host. Met us on the drive in and helped us park. 30 amp and water. In a flat valley with monntins all around. On a small plane runway - this is not a problem. Road in is very good gravel, keep going until you arive. We drove in a 37 foot class A with tow and had no trouble. Thanks for the say. Much enjoyed.
What a wonderful host. We are new at the RV scene, and our host immediately helped put us at ease. Serenity has everything you need to enjoy a short getaway. The surroundings are peaceful, beautiful, and calming. My husband and I look forward to visiting again.
