Quiet suburban neighborhood with houses fairly close together. Close to Freeways. Very nice and walkable neighborhood.
A local Trader Joe's (grocery store), restaurants and bus stops are all in 4 minutes walking distance. Busses take you to old town Pasadena, Glendale or DTLA.
Parking is in our driveway. If needed, we have blocks available for leveling.
This space is limited to vans under 25 feet long and 7.5 feet (90 inches) or less in width with mirrors folded. This is so our neighbors can access their cars and we still have a walkway in-between our 2 driveways. Sorry, no trailers or RVs wider than 7.5'. Class B vans have our preference.
Water access and electricity hookups are provided. We may be able to provide free WiFi but need to setup a guest account.
No smoking on property.
No barking dogs.
Please be quiet and courteous.
No running of engine for extended periods. Electricity is provided so no generator needed.
This is a very quiet neighborhood so please respect our neighbors.
Easy access from street. Backing in is preferred to have the entrance door facing our yard and not the neighbors driveway. The wheels of your van, RV or trailer should stay on the concrete. The flagstone will not support the heavy weight.
Street parking in front of our house without limitations. Our driveway only accommodates a small RV, camper van or small trailer. Length is not a problem but our driveway is narrow and shared with neighbors. Your trailer, van or RV should not be wider than 7.5' (90").
Tons of local attractions in Los Angeles. Within 15-20 minutes of driving:
Old town Pasadena.
Glendale with its shopping centers (Americana and Glendale Galleria).
DTLA to the south.
Griffith Park Observatory plus lots of hiking trails in Griffith Park. The L.A. zoo is also located here.
Hollywood, Universal Studios, Hollywood Bowl.
We were excited to be the first guests at California Dreamin'. The location is beautiful and conveniently located. CD prepared a great info sheet and map for the area and gave me additional recommendations when I asked. He is a great conversationalist and his wife is very welcoming. I know you'll enjoy your stay if you are able to do so.
Backing in is best and remember to stay on the concrete and off of the paving stones.
