Nature loving , adventure seeking couple . Details: We’ve been married 32 years and have 5 grown kids . We’re native to this area and love the idea of sharing our quiet piece of nature with fellow Boondockers. We have several farm animals, donkeys, goats, baby doll sheep, ducks and chickens. Home Town: Carthage , Missouri Favorite Boondocking Locations: The only boondooking we’ve done so far is in years past with our kids in Walmart parking lots , in a bumper pull camper usually in route to a destination . Once in a church parking lot trying to sleep in an unconverted passenger van . Skills or Expertise to Share: My wife is a Special Ed teacher. I own an HVAC company. We have done any and everything from restoring a 130 year old home , remodeling several homes and building our current home . We have a 2019 Wolf Pack toy hauler that we camp in whenever we can.

Great parking spot in a yard of trees. A great nap was had here. Hosts daughter lead us to where to go. Animals penned up outside the window to view. would love to stay again sometime.

We had a nice easily accessed overnight stay at Idle Wild. it was not hard to find. The weather was not great, so the owner allowed us to stay on the gravel driveway. It did rain quite a bit overnight, so we were glad for that.

Did not get to meet hosts because we arrived late. But their adult daughter was watching for us and walked us to our spot. without her help we would have heen unsure where to park. The place is a large roomy level magical spot of nature. Although we did not meet the hosts were quickly responsive to our many messages. We would love to stop again

We had a great stay at Idle Wild. It's an easy find and setup. We loved all the farm animals that came to greet you, especially the baby goats! It's fantastic that the owners share their space with HH.

Perfect overnight. Could not have asked for a better place!! You park next to farm with goats, donkeys, sheep & more! you do hear typical farm noices but nothing unnatural. Highly recommended stay
