The address is Somerville, but this is just outside the city limits of Snook. I have a place for one RV and a tow vehicle if needed. This is on the farm about halfway between Texas A&M (Bryan/College Station) and Lake Somerville. It's nothing fancy, but it's a place to stay. This is Burleson County.
I will be at work most weekdays unless I can work from home, but will be available by phone if needed. On weekends I may be home or out camping on my own adventures. We will coordinate arrival/departure times. There is a clear box with a purple lid that will be set out if I'm not home. It should contain all the info you need for the site and the area. Please fill out a log sheet before you leave.
The site is close to a Farm-to-Market road and we do get quite a bit of traffic in the morning/afternoon on weekdays. It's okay for pets to be off leash, but keep them and children under constant supervision. Sometimes, there are coyotes in the area at night, so I don't advise letting pets out at night to roam free, especially small ones. There is a security light next to the driveway. There is a cedar tree immediately next to the parking area, so keep in mind if you have bad allergies to them. There is a fire ring with a flip-over grate. I have some wood, but you may want to bring your own. Grilling is allowed. There is a small table outside as well as a 2-seater swing. There are Munzees here and a geocache nearby.
Keep pets and children under constant supervision outside. I am close to the road.
No loud generators after 10 pm
No smoking near the house or shed - Do not leave butts on the ground!
Household garbage may be thrown in dumpster, but must be bagged. No live coals!
No loud music
Completely douse all fires before leaving or heading in the for the night
The driveway and parking area is roadbase. You may have to back in, but the driveway is straight and about 200' long. During dry weather, you may be able to pull through the pasture, but do not attempt after rains or if you have an extremely heavy rig. There are no overhead trees. The parking area has a shed on one side and a cedar tree on the other. Max area between is 15'.
Parking spot next to my vehicle or in front of the rig if it's short. If you have a dually, we will make adjustments. Parking is on roadbase.
I work in Bryan M-F 8a-5p, although I do work from home on occasion. I am usually home in the evenings.
Weekend availability may be up in the air. I may be on my own adventures or I may be home. Contact me anytime for directions or other needs. There is a clear box with a purple lid that will be set out. It should contain all the info you need.

NativTxn not only introduced me to Boondockers Welcome, she's a gracious hostess and made me feel welcome at her peaceful prairie home. She helped me get the cats into my trailer in spite of the rain, after lending me her electric drill with socket wrench to put down the stabilizer jacks more easily than with the manual crank. This has been a really great start to my trip, and to my BW experience. I hope we meet again soon, both here and on the road.
Wonderful flat spot in a beautiful setting. Conveniently located near college station. 30 amp service and Water hookups, what more could you ask. Host was super nice, had a lovely evening talking with her and her parents. Spot had a fire ring and lounge chairs to bed I did not have time to stay and enjoy them.
We had a great time and enjoyed talking to NativTxn and one additional member their family. It was our 1st ever experience as Boondockers Welcome guests and as it turns out is was NativTxn's 1st experience as a host. Our trip was a whirlwind, 1-day trip, so we did not get to spend a lot of time at the campsite, but the time we had there was fabulous. We easy access to all hookups (except that was there was no sewer connection and since we knew going in that there wasn't one, this is NOT a negative comment). NativTxn was friendly and helpful. My water hose filter was leaking, and while we were away from camp ,NativTxn loaned me theirs and they hooked it up so the water would stop leaking (sorry about that), When we got back to the camp, late at night. the stars and the cricket and frog sound were magical. It the morning we woke to what seems like dozens of different bird's song's and enjoyed our morning coffee in sitting is the wonderful sitting area. We truly enjoyed the campsite, the people and the area. I highly recommend NativTxn's Blackland Prairie.
