We enjoy camping and we’re interested giving back to and meeting fellow campers. We own a conveniently located, grass lot bordered by trees in a residential area. It is along a busy street on one side and a township park on the other, just off Interstate 83 in Lawnton, Harrisburg PA. No amenities promised other than a place to park and dry camp. Some rules to adhere to until we become comfortable with this program but let’s see if this works out for all of us. Per our initial guests, our lot is conveniently located just off the main highways for campers passing through or visiting Harrisburg BUT the nearby trains running on the nearby tacks were noisy throughout the night.
No smoking on property
No running generator from 9:00 pm until 8:00 am.
No pets off leash
Pick up pet waste and take it with you
Guests must text picture of drivers license and insurance ID card to host at time of reservation
We look forward to visiting but we do not reside at the property. It is in a residential area and guests are requested to be respectful and courteous to the neighbors.
Daylight arrival only.
Conveniently located, nearly flat 1/4 acre grass lot with bordering trees just off the interstate 83 at an intersection with traffic light.

We’re new to hosting boondockers and our level of participation will depend on our experiences. Hoping we can work something out to be helpful, share some laughs, stories and a cold drink!

Our host couldn’t be more accommodating and gracious. A level space with easy access to and from the highway. We have a 40’ fifth wheel and had no problem getting in and out. The train nearby was a little noisy overnight but we got a good nights sleep. We would stop again when traveling by.
