I really enjoyed my stay in this quiet and peaceful spot. Song birds in the afternoon accompanied me while working remotely and frogs at night. I also appreciated the local travel recommendations and stories from Jon. I would love to stay here again when I'm back in the area. Also the parking site was very level and easy to setup on.

My two night stay at Jonboy's worked out great. The cement parking spot was quite, shaded, roomy and needed very little leveling. Jonboy provided me with electric from his house so no need for noisy generator use. Much appreciated for making coffee or microwave use. We practiced social distancing but were still able to have an interesting conversation on where our lives had taken us. I was attending my 50th high school reunion and this location is a short drive to everything Madison has to offer. I also enjoyed visiting with his lovely wife about navigating my drive to the reunion location. Great people ! Would love a return visit in the near future.

Jonboy was very accommodating. He made sure I was completely set up and offered electric but I didn’t need any for the night. I strongly recommend this wonderful location.

Our Host welcomed us and helped us get parked. After settling in, we were greeted again and informed about the highlights of the UW campus. We had a great time exploring including Observatory Hill, Babcock Hall where the UW Dairy sells really good ice cream, Allen Gardens, and the walk to Picnic Point. And the nights were so peaceful and quiet. Thanks to the Hosts for being part of BDW.

Jonboy's home was a great home base for us as we visited family in Madison. Convenient to the city, we used the wooded, quiet spot as an overnight respite. Lovely and helpful hosts.
