This was a terrific place to stay to go into Saint Louis for seeing the sites and visiting Gateway Arch Memorial Park. There was a major storm with tornado activity in tye area and Steve and Donna had us come to their house to be aboe to take cover in their basement if need be. They were terrific hosts. The area is very level packed gravel that drains well so you aren’t walking in puddles if it rains. We would definitely stay again if we visit the area again.

Close to freeway and train tracks. Perfect setup with level pad and electricity, if you need/want it. Pleasant host. Would stay again!

what a lovely secluded spot! the parking pad was quite large with electric hookups! it poured rain while we were there so it was an added bonus to have power. the hosts reached out to us several times to see if we had questions etc. they were very accomodating. we highly recommend this stop in your travels. thank you!

the stay at the lake house was just fine. Electricity is offered, but we did not use it. It is a quiet, safe, secure location. The train horns did keep us up a little bit at night. But it was nothing that earplugs could not handle. also use the directions that the host gives you so you don’t get stuck on the other side of the tracks with a parked train.

It was nice to meet Donna and Steve. They have a very nice safe location. We would return if ever back in this area again.
