Boondockers may stay here for free, and camp wherever you'd like on our property. We have two 30 amp hookups available (first come first served), and we also offer two 20 amp hookups. Power (20 amp and 30 amp) and water is available for $15 per night ($5 per night water only). Payment due upon arrival either cash or via Venmo (@Dave-Hale-23). WIFI is available up near our house (please ask for password). This is a Longleaf Pine sanctuary and a hobby farm. We also host an AirBnB, so other guests may be here as well. We prefer to host two or three campers at a time plus a few boondockers, but if you are traveling as a small group, we will be happy to accommodate all of you if we can. Suggested local attraction: Blakeley State Historic Park is four miles away.

Location

Access Road Conditions: Paved driveway with initial hill. We recommend that you approach our driveway from the west (via AL Hwy 225), especially if you have a large rig. Large paved turn around up at the house. We use it to turn around our 29’ rig pulled by a Chevy Silverado. No low hanging trees. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Next to the rig.

Dave and Homer are 5star hosts! We were greeted enthusiastically by both and enjoyed our stay immensely. Dave helped us with area information (directions, restaurant suggestions, e.t.c) and worked with our crazy schedule (we were attending a convention in Mobile during our stay). The property location is convenient and the grounds are beautiful with longleaf pines. If we're ever in the area again, we'd certainly enjoy another stay.

Dave is as fine a host as you could ever want. A helping hand if you need it, but not the least intrusive if you want privacy. All this with a great setting in a long leaf pine forest.

The place was easy to find, easy to park in, and the host, Dave, went past necessity to make our stay a great one. We enjoyed his dog, Homer, and all of the animals. We were a short ride from Lamberts for lunch and the beautiful Gulf park. Looking forward to our next trip!
