We have several easy pull thru boondocking campsites near the road where only water is available.
We also have a full hookup campsite much nearer our house where more maneuvering is necessary. WIFI is available there.
This is a Longleaf Pine sanctuary and a hobby farm. We also host an AirBnB, so other guests may be here as well.
We prefer to communicate via the Boondockers Welcome App. You are welcome to call us, but please leave a message as we will not answer a call coming from an unknown phone number.
At the boondocking campsites, Generator and pets are fine, and water is available. No donations necessary.
At the full hookup campsite, pets must be on a leash. We usually have a hot tub available for a small donation, but it currently is being renovated.
Smoking is fine anywhere; please pick up your butts.
Paved driveway with initial hill. Campsites anywhere along the side of the driveway, several pull through opportunities.
Large paved turn around up at the house. We use it to turn around our 29’ rig pulled by a Chevy Silverado. No low hanging trees.
Next to the rig.
We prefer to host only one camper at a time, but if you are traveling as a small group, we will be happy to accommodate all of you if we can.
Blakeley State Historic Park is four miles away.
Wonderful host and great quiet setting peaceful sleep very helpful cause our RV was over heating Thanks Dave
Awesome hosts. Beautiful property, very well maintained. Friendly animals. We had a blast!
Wonderful host and property! Driveway entrance is a little narrow and could be a challenge for bigger rigs. We enjoyed our stay and we will visit again. Be sure to stop and say hello to Hercules the donkey and his friends.
Wow this place was just gorgeous and the hosts were amazing!
The trees here are stunning. We had issues connecting to the WiFi, but the hosts were more than accommodating to make sure we had what we needed and we enjoyed chatting with them and getting to know them and their beautiful animals. Thanks so much for having us!
Host was very accommodating on short notice. It's nestled back in the pine trees. Will definitely stay here again if our travels lead us this way again!
Dave and Judy are super hosts. They offered for us to join them. It was Mother’s Day and decided that they should spend it with their family. This was the first time that a 39 foot class A stayed there. We would advise not to try the turn around by the house because it’s just too tight for a big rig. They just need to drive in on the right.
A precious couple in the hidden pines of Bay Minette.
You really must meet them if you haven't yet.
Their trees are towering, so very lush and green.
Campsite is level, comforting and clean.
Our first boondocking adventure, one we'll never forget.
You'll love it there too, on that we'd both bet.
Both of them are pleasant, knowledgeble and such gracious host.
Not sure if we liked them or their animals the most. ( joking of course).
So welcoming and friendly, all kidding aside.
Glad we took the drive on that Alabama ride.
They have mules and pony's, chickens, dogs and more.
Not to mention their delicious blueberries galore.
For Boondockers hosting, this couple has the knack.
To The Heart of the Country, we hope to one day go back.
Quite, easy in/out, wildlife, hiking, super nice hosts, close to town. AND we were blessed with farm animals: Eunice, Hercules, Ernie, and others to many to name them all. Thanks you for a restful and educational visit.
What a pleasure to meet Dave and Judy and their menagerie of animals! A beautiful, peaceful haven. Would love to visit again if ever in their neck of the woods.
The host was very kind and generous. Easy to get in and out
with water and electricity available. I give them five stars and gold use them whenever I am in the area
