Parking is next to my barn where someone can plug into 110, $5 donation requested if electricity is used for AC. I’ve had logging trucks on the property, so access shouldn’t be a problem for average size RVs, probably up to 36’, unless you are really good at maneuvering. We recently had a 27” trailer pulled by a truck. You need to back in to get to the spot and for a rig that size it was a challenge. Very good backing up skills a must. My home is intown Durham, close to UNH and there’s 10 acres out back for dog walking...off lease if well trained. Contained Firepit is OK as long as there isn’t a fire ban. 10 miles from Portsmouth NH and the beaches, about one hour from the mountains.
No smoking, No running generators after 9:00 pm to 9:00 am, Only well behaved pets, No outdoor uncontained fires, Cleanup after pets, One night stay unless negotiated otherwise,
Neighborhood road with easy access to state highway. Hardpacked gravel parking surface.
We are retired and here much of the time, but we do have planned trips or can be gone with short notice.
Finding the location was very simple. Our pup was very happy to play with their beautiful dogs. Thanks for being so understanding with our changes in plans. We would definitely stay at this location again.
We only stayed one night but it was a very convenient and peaceful night. Thank you!
We enjoyed the night and the conversation with the hosts in the morning. Thank you very much for accommodating us! Thank you for the hospitality!
We had a great time chatting with mduffm as we settled in to the spot. They offered an electricity hookup and even gave a tour of their own rig. Their dog was super friendly and the area quiet and serene at night. Much appreciation for hosting us! :)
These hosts were super gracious, accepting our same-day request and making us feel at home. We slept soundly and really enjoyed our morning chat over coffee and pastries, getting wonderful recommendations for our time in New Hampshire. We will definitely visit again!
The host graciously accepted us even though there was LOTS of RAIN. Shared a bit of conversation and then even felt comfortable enough to ask host to dry towels we used to clean up water puddles inside. The access does require backing into which was a challenge for our 28ft tt. Maybe we’ll meet again! Thanks.
Very accommodating and friendly Host, communication was excellent - got back to us immediately for a short notice stay.
Boondocking area was very easy to back into, even with my lack of experience and our 32' class A. Plenty of room for our Cherokee Toad. Offered a water hose and 110 extension cord. Plenty of room for our fur boys 🐾 to run and play off leash and socialize with their own sweet, ol'gal of dog. Even had well groomed trails into the woods.
After we were set up, asked if we like to socialize for a bit, which we gladly did! Such a well traveled and lovely couple who are a pleasure to be around and were thoughtful of our privacy at the same time.
Breakfast was an unexpected bonus and gave us a chance to chat about RVing some more. Looking forward to catching up with them again after their next adventure!
