Our property is on the Trans Canada Highway with easy access to the Newfoundland Ferries, and most amenities. The proximity to the highway can be disruptive with traffic noise but is more than made up for with the waterfront location on the Bras d'or Lakes. Suggested Local Attractions:Cabot Trail, Sydney Mines Fossil Museum, Newfoundland Ferries, towns of Florence, Sydney Mines and North Sydney.

very convenient for rv ers doing day crossing as one can get some rest before continuing ones trip. Close to highway so can get a bit of noice but not so bad after ferry traffic clears

It was a great place to park overnight! Beautiful view of the waterways! The hosts were out of touch but still kept in contact with us and allowed us to park there! We hope to stay there on our way back. There's a nice restaurant right across the street. The traffic is kind of noisy but not terribly!

I really appreciate folks that open their places for us travelers. This spot worked OK for us but do read the reviews and see if it is right for you. Do note that this spot is right next to the highway and across the street from a truck stop. We did not have a bug issue but the noise was quite loud although for me it did settle down later in the overnight.

We arrived off the ferry exhausted and was very happy to have this Harvest host so close to the terminal. It is as described. The host was quick to respond. Thank you!
