We are in downtown Morristown a couple miles or short bike ride to Jockey Hollow National Park where George Washington spent two winters during the revolutionary war. Morristown’s train station is a half mile walk and has direct train service (60 min) to Manhattan. Great road biking and mountain biking trails nearby, and kayaking spots within 45 minutes drive.
Hopefully use your common sense.
The property is a half mile from the center of Morristown. It’s a breeze to back in our 19 footer, but probably a challenge for bigger rigs. The driveway is 10 feet wide with landscaping on both side and is at right angles to the road. All paved with curbs. No turnaround so backing in is a must. If our camper is here, you will park by it.
They can park on the street or back campers into driveways and park behind campers
We do a lot of last minute trips in the Summer based on weather and friends, but feel free to contact us.
Morris Museum, Washington’s Headquarters, lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
The hosts were welcoming and graciously offered us use of power and water even though we didn’t require. Superior location if you enjoy walking to town! Lots of great eateries and places to quench your thirst. Very much enjoyed our short but wonderful stay!
Location is ideal for anyone visiting Morristown area.
Quiet backyard in a urban setting.
Nice quiet stay in a pretty little neighborhood. We parked in the back so it was fairly private. Our spot was level. Good stay!
Our host in peaceful Morristown was most welcoming, pointed us to a lovely river walk, and made us welcome in his well tended, quiet garden. Thanks!!
Friendly couple. Level drive and quiet tucked away backyard. Electric was helpful. Would stay again when in the area.
