A lot by my shop has grassy area around building.
just leave the place as you found it.
asphalt lot and street, mile off I70.
anywhere on the lot.
Just text me l usually have my phone with me.
Castle rock formation is 20 moles south. The pyramids are 40 miles south.
We arrived a little later than expected and hopefully didn't disturb the folks next to us. They left early the next morning so I didn't get a chance to check with them.
The hosts were awesome and very friendly!the site was grass and nice, mowed and level. If outside, you can barely hear the interstate but nice and quiet inside.
Make sure that you have everything you need because there is one grocery store, a convenience store and a couple of restaurants..Large towns are 50miles West (Colby) or East (Hays).
We stayed in a 40 ft 5th wheel and would definitely stay again.
Thanks again to our hosts.
Just off I70. Arrived when hot was out and left before they got up so didn't get a chance to meet in person.
Nice open grassy location to back into, level and quiet after a long drive.
Great overnight very close to I-70 and quiet. Parking was easy, regardless of rig size. No TMobile, weak Verizon, ATT OK.
Very nice couple, enjoyed our conversation. Right off I-70. Easy in and out. Lots of room. This was our second visit🙂
What a delightful stopover for us. This is a great place to stay. Very quiet and just about a half a mile away from Interstate 70.
From the moment we arrived our host had us laughing. He has an incredible dry wit. Very warm and friendly man. Also, he gave us several suggestions on things to see and do in the area. Of course we took notes.
There is a Dollar General .5 miles from his place. Easy walking distance.
This site is located in a quiet neighborhood. The site is well lit. We felt very safe here in this wonderful little community.
Be sure to check out Castle Rock, Monument Rocks, and Buffalo Bill Cultural Center while you are here.
The Reactor's Backyard is a nice quiet spot close to the highway. Easy parking. Just what we needed after a long day. Host is a wealth of knowledge. I enjoyed talking to him. Definitely will stay here again if I'm passing through.
Hosts were very welcoming and the location was easy to find. Very peaceful.
This was a perfect place for a quick sleep. It was just off the highway, easy to find and quiet.
This was a great stop on our way home. The reactor gave us great recommendations for dinner and coffee in the morning. The brewery in town had great beer and a wonderful small town atmosphere. Coffee and scones at the pharmacy with the old school soda fountain was a perfect way to start our morning. If you're traveling along I-70 between Kansas City and Denver, Quinter is a great place to stop along the way.
A great place to stop for the night - close to I-70, nice level lot with rock base and plenty of space. Small micro-brew (Center Pivot) in town with a very friendly owner and outstanding beer. We didn’t get to meet the hosts on this trip but they were informative and quick to respond to communications.
Nice couple working on their own RV. Easy on and off I-70. Nice neighborhood.
We are doing a hard push home, asked for a last minute place to stay, arrived at 9:30pm in the dark to sleep. Host came out to see us, great chat! Good luck with the rattle snake skinning and pinning! Highly recommend this host spot, flat and right off our route home!
Great communication. We didn't get to meet our hosts this trip. Hopefully we can see your Alpine next time.
Nice quiet place to stay. Hosts were out of town but communicated that to us before we arrived.
Commercial lot. Host not there which was fine. As previous references say host was very quick to respond..Quiet area. I was able to open my doors and even put a tent up. Although there are a lot of ants on the ground. Love Reactors golden (house) rule - leave it how you found it. Just about covers it all. Simple. To the point. Trusting.
There's a pretty decent grocery store on the other end of town (2min drive). Helpful. Enjoyed the stay.
Had a nice conversation with the hosts about the area. Had a nice meal at a local brew pub.
Nicest couple ever. So glad we were able to visit with y'all. Absolutely delightful overnight stay with a wonderful visit amongst amazing people.
Thanks again and happy camping!!
I appreciated a level quiet place to spend the night close to an I70 exit
We stayed here on our way to CO and then again on our way home. Its the best little place to stopover and get some great sleep!
This was the perfect stop for a quick overnight sleep. The host was very nice and responsive to all of our messages. It was easily accessible for our big rig and I highly recommend staying here if passing thru and need a safe spot to rest.
Rector was so accommodating! He is the first Host we have used with our brand new membership. I texted him as we were 2 hours away and he responded in about 40 minutes and accepted our arrival. It was easy to find of the exit. Plenty of pull through parking for or 60 ft!
We shut the engine down and climbed in bed! It was quiet, and peaceful. We will definitely use Rector again!
All the host was not there he has a very nice place.
Super quiet and gave us a heck of a referral to have dinner.
Cute little town and the brew pub in town is a great option within walking distance. Simple gravel pad (great since it rained) with a grassy area. Will def stop in again if we are back thru 🚌 💨 🗺
Our host was out of town so we didn’t get the pleasure of meeting him. But his communication was great and the location is remote, flat and very quiet. Perfect location right off of I-70. Great stopover point for us on our trip east. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.
Many thanks to our host! Easy to get to. Level spot to rest. Host was easy to reach for questions. Five stars for him for giving us information about a safe shelter in town as bad weather was coming in the first night we stayed. great town for an easy stroll. If in the area check out the brewery. 👍
Our host was very easy to work with and even let us stay on the lot while out of town. Big space and very comfortable with our travel trailer. Would suggest to anyone! Thank you!
Gracious hosts told us exactly where to park. Pretty spot in the road for us to hang out for a couple days, no complaints from neighbors, and lots or room to run the dogs and go on a jog myself. If we ever pass through again, I will without a doubt be booking at The Reactor!
Really appreciate our host allowing this stay. It was halfway between Kansas City and Colorado Springs and provided a much needed rest. The small town of Quinter is a wonderful little Midwest farm town. We took a nice walk through the town before hitting the road the next day. People were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This was an easy place to get to right off of the interstate. Host were very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stop here again when I'm in the area.
Reactors place is very convenient and quiet. He was quick to respond and we appreciate his hospitality. Sorry we did not get to meet him.
Stayed two nights here and really enjoyed the town and surrounding area. Our host was out of town, but gave us easy to follow detailed instructions as to where to park. Hope to pass through again and meet the host.
Had an overnight stop on trip home. Met and had a visit with another couple staying over and had a great time.
Thank you for your hospitality!
Easy access from hwy, lots of level space, very quiet area. Thank you so much for our first BW stay!
Sweet small town, site with grass and privacy. Host and hostess wonderful people!
Great brewery-resteraunt just a short walk.
Very friendly and helpful. Gave great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Good conversations with them. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely ask to stay again if in the area.
Flat, and lots of area to move around with our trailer.
