Secluded spot in the back of the property next to a small .1 acre stocked pond. We have extension cords run to the area during the summer to power a waterfall in the pond. You may swim and/or fish in the pond and we have kayaks. We have 2 horses and lots of chickens. Fresh eggs for breakfast! 2 additional possible parking areas are next to the horse barn with water and 20 amp and also next to the garage with water and 30 amp. Please note that only the pond spot would be considered pull through but there is a lot of room to turn around. Limited cell phone coverage. Verizon works fine, but last I tested, AT&T did not but that was years ago. YMMV.
If you are traveling with others, I may be able to accommodate multiple rigs. Just ask.
No loud generators at night (quiet inverter type ok)
No loud music or parties. We and our neighbors like this area because it is secluded and quiet.
Watch your children around pond.
DO NOT spook the horses.
DO NOT enter the horse pasture. any horse can be dangerous.
DO NOT feed the horses anything except grass without permission.
We are non drinkers. We don't care if you drink alcohol in moderation, but drunkenness will not be tolerated.
Paved road to the property. Large motorhomes with tow vehicles may have to unhook to turn around.
Plenty of room for parking tow vehicles.
Definitely recommend if you’re ever in the area, great host and farm experience. Great wifi coverage throughout the property!
Great time down on the farm. The hosts are very kind and welcoming and make you feel at home. They have farm fresh eggs that you can gather for breakfast, wifi spans the whole property, horses to pet, and fish to feed. This place is more than just a stop over, it’s a whole experience. Highly recommend.
Our host and his daughter met us at the driveway and were very warm and welcoming! They gave us a tour of their property after we set up. They showed us the chickens and collected four eggs for our next morning's breakfast. They introduced us to the horses and showed us the pond with fish and how to feed them. His daughter caught two frogs for us to look at! The days and nights were peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay on their lovely property and when we travel to this area again, we would be happy to request another visit with 10 Acres of Fun!
From the acceptance email from Tim, to all of the follow up emails, all went smooth. When we turned onto BW site, he was waiting by driveway to lead us back into this peaceful setting. He was very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Showed us the kayaks, fish food, fire ring and free fire wood, made it a point to make our stay enjoyable. We had our 6 year old grand daughter with us, she enjoyed walking the paths picking black berries, petting the horses, feeding the chickens, wading in the pond, feeding the fish in pond. TPage stretched out an extension cord for 15 amp service, allowed us to use well to get water. We enjoyed our alone time with zero interruptions. At night Tim and his youngest daughter came to site and enjoyed a couple of smores and a bottle of Gatorade with us, we really liked that they stayed and chatted about their lives. The next day his youngest daughter took and played with our granddaughter on the trampoline, helped her retrieve some fresh eggs for breakfast. We did not want to leave but it started to climb near the 88 degree mark and our little one was done. If you are looking for a peaceful spot to unwind and sit by pond, this is the place, we will definitely request to stay here again. Thanks TPage for making our first BW stay nice. Cozy Acres
