Small plot of land next to the creek that holds our cottage and a small area to park. If you have your fishing license you can fish. Or cool off on a hot day with a dip in the water. Fairly peaceful, enjoy yourselves a cookout if you have a small grill. Pet friendly. Sorry we currently have no hookups as our cottage is being renovated, we hope to have some awesome amenities for you in the future! This spot will be great for small RVs, vans or tent campers. If you have an RV that is hard to back then we would suggest considering another host as there is very little room for turn around. However it is very easy with cars, vans or trucks. Smaller campers like a mini Winnie would do well backing down the short drive and parking. Hope this helps you make a decision on what will suit your needs.

Modern Hippies Details: My Husband (Brian) and Myself (Charity) Love the traveling lifestyle. We built a 2001 International Bluebird School Bus into a traveling Rv for ourselves and our two children in 2017. We want to take in as much of the world as possible. We recently sold our bus and are looking to find a new smaller bus to convert and travel in. We have a home and land in Pennsylvania that we would love to share with you as you travel. We enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, music and arts. Home Town: Our home town is Sandy Ridge Pennsylvania. Though we are not originally from this area, this is where we land when we do come home! Favorite Boondocking Locations: Our Madelinn and Nathaniel fell in love with Louisiana so that’s one of our favorite places. We personally loved Florida for the water and shells and New Mexico for the beautiful sunsets. Skills or Expertise to Share: Charity is a jack of all trades she knows a bit of everything and if she doesn’t she will find out how to do it. She’s an artist and animal lover/rescuer. Brian is a Truck driver whom could get you just about anywhere you want to go!

We drove approximately 30 minutes from I-80 to Howell Hollow. We had a great place to park and our hosts were wonderful from 6 ft. apart! We visited Bald Eagle State Park which is about a 40 minute drive and really nice! It poured rain on the way home from the park, but being from Arizona for 25 years, we enjoyed it! Our hosts were so kind! Thank you for hosting us! We really appreciate a safe place to park as we head for home!

I had the misfortune to be caught on the road during the Covid-19 quarantine period. I was grateful to Charityhowell for allowing me to stay on their property for a night so I could rest up on my travels from Virginia to New York. Although we did waived from afar due to social distancing, I felt welcomed and would stay here again.

This is a great spot for peace and quiet!, Lots of room on a lovely, level, huge backyard where you may be greeted by chickens and turkeys (ducks are penned). The Howells are wonderful, easy-going, generous, and available to help or answer questions. If you are staying for a few days nearby there is: Penn State U., 30 miles away with a wonderful museum, arboretum and famous ice cream creamery. Phillipsburg, 7 mi in the other direction also has lots to offer, and Black Moshannon S.P. a little farther away. Thank you Charity and Brian.

This was a lovely spot to spend five nights... There were chickens and roosters and turkeys and ducks - oh my...a large field my pups loved running around and a neighboring horse who was very friendly... We met Bella who is a beautiful St. Bernard mix and very friendly!... I enjoyed chatting with Charity and also the time I had to just do my thing... Nearby grocery store, laundromat and post office were excellent... Highly recommend this beautiful spot in rural Pennsylvania...
