Description

Absolutely no truck-trailer combinations please. A safe place to stop in Albuquerque. Our home is on .89 acre. We have a fairly level spot on our second driveway available for a small Motorhome. Sorry, but trailers can’t maneuver in our tiny turn around area. We limit guests to Truck/campers or Motorhomes no longer than 26’. Narrowest width of the driveway is 11’. We can easily drive our own 24’ motor home into this space. We do have a spotter help with turn around.

PLEASE have a spotter help you turn around. If you are alone we are happy to help you.

I’m happy to help you with our 100’ of fresh water hose to fill your freshwater tank from the faucet on the west side of the house. We have hard well water. 30 amps is available on the shop.

We work weekdays and get up with the roosters, so we go to bed at 9pm on week nights. After 9pm please keep your conversations low (in spring, summer & fall) as most of us in the neighborhood sleep with our windows open at night.

Typically it cools down quickly at 5,890 ft elevation and after you’ve cooled off your rig with a.c., fans should suffice. Ultimately we want you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay with us. If you need a.c. all night, please use it.

The neighbors behind us have chickens, and a rooster.

A small donation towards electricity is greatly appreciated.

Typically we have extra room in our trash cans for a kitchen size bag of trash, please check with us first.

Pets are welcome, but strictly on a leash. Our street is quiet, but neighbors SPEED by and they don’t expect dogs in the front yard or on the street. Please pick up after your dogs. Please don’t request a stay with us with the intention of leaving your pet in your RV while you go sightseeing. We love our dogs, but we (and our neighbors) don’t want to listen to your dogs barking while you are away.

We have a lovely front courtyard to visit with you if you’re interested in socializing. We are vaccinated. Due to the rise of the Delta Variant, we are masking and social distancing (again).

Depending on weather, feel free to put out your awning, roll out your carpet, open up your slides, set up an outdoor kitchen, and use your lawn chairs in the driveway of the shop.

Look East to the mountains at sunset as the Sandia’s turn pink!

We look forward to meeting you!,

Beautiful Sandia view

We received a nice welcome from our host. Showing us to our camp spot and getting our electric hooked up for our AC right away as it was very warm.
Later in the evening we spent time with our hosts on their patio. Sharing travel and camping stories.
Could have visited longer but it was getting late.
I also enjoyed meeting their 2 poodles who got along great with our dog.
Would like to stay there again if possible.

Safe, Beautiful, Level, Friendly

Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and we had a great stay with them. Their area is only suited to smaller rigs, but if you have one, don’t miss this opportunity for a great stay in a nice, safe, beautiful setting. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Thank you again so much. Happy trails!

Super Host. Great location. Recommend. Stay again

Host was easy to communicate with. Offered over the top hospitality. Great location in suburban Albuquerque… about 15 mins to downtown ABQ and < than 10 mins to tram to mountain top, which is an ABQ must-do! Very quiet location. Great night of sleep. Highly recommend. Would ask to stay again.

Restful night

Lovely hosts. Nice restful evening after a long drive from Oaklhoma.

Interesting neighborhood with varied architecture, up in the mountains not far from the tramway.

Great Stay

I am so grateful for this host. We needed a last minute stay due to family emergency and this host was super accommodating...even though it was the 4th of July. We enjoyed some social time getting to know each other. What a beautiful view of the city at night, and we also enjoyed a beautiful rainbow (rainbow not guaranteed during your stay😉).
Thank you for wonderful hospitality! This would definitely be my stay of choice if driving through ABQ. Felt very safe, and it was very quiet.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at this place. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and we truly enjoyed chatting with them. They gave us a perfect recommendation for dinner. We will stay here again on our next visit to Albuquerque.

Beautiful location!

Our stay was much too short - literally 7 hours. We got in late but Joyce let us know it was still ok to stay at their place. She met us at the end of the driveway and helped us get situated. We took a short walk with our pups and marveled at the twinkling city lights & the quiet of the area. We will definitely come back again when we can stay longer, visit, & explore the city.

Very helpful

Very nice hosts. They helped me turn around my van late at night so that I would be set to leave in the morning. Flat level parking. The roster wasn't bad.
