The primitive road was a rough ride, lots of rattling in our big rig! Make sure everything you have is strapped down and tightened. After that, the spot and hosts are great. Beautiful night sky with a view of the Milky Way!
The drive to their place is on a long washboard caliche road, but well worth it!! They have so much sensible info about 420 uses. Would definitely go back and visit again!! Beautiful sunsets and the stars at night are incredible!! Tnx for an Awesome visit to Mother Nature's Den!
This is a MUST stop for any 420 friendly travelers in the area or anyone wanting a Superior experience on an evolving sanctuary in the desert.
The Route 66 drive it beautiful!
The Hosts are Wondetful!!! They truly spoiled us.
Our dogs blended right into thier pack rather quickly. You'll fall in love with them all. We had a hard time getting them to leave.
It was our first Boondocking experience and I can say it went perfectly thanks to them.
Be SURE to follow the direction they send you NOT the Google click choice....learn from our mistake. Lol
The road is gravel and a bit rough in spots but very drivable. After the last cattle gaurd you go another 4 miles to get there.
Take your time and you'll have no issues. I wouldn't suggest arriving after dark.
We will DEFINITELY be going back!
Their property is beautiful. Perfect for Boondockers, if you have a bigger rig the path is pretty rough on it so keep that in mind. Otherwise I would recommend!
GREAT PEOPLE, Ample parking, Very informative.
The road in is gravel and it is kinda wash board, But go easy any kind of vehicle can negotiate the road.
I hope to stop there on my next time thru.
The folks at Mother Natures Dens were great. They ensured I was comfortable on a daily basis. When I enquired about the name "Mother Natures Den" they were enthusiastic in providing me with as much info as I could absorb. I'm looking forward to visiting them again. Thanks folks.
Peter and Helen were most gracious hosts even inviting us to join then dinning alfresco in their backyard. It’s a very peaceful property away from all the distractions in life. Coyotes sing and cattle graze all around their land.
Out of the way but very well worth a stay.
The setting is high desert surrounded by red soil and scrub vegetation. Peaceful and wide open feeling.
Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and friendly. They are also passionate about their 420 message. He is a walking billboard for many of the positive benefits. While very excited about their message they are not in your face about it. We had a very pleasant conversation.
Oh yeah, they have dogs. Friendly, enthusiastic happy dogs. I loved this hoard of puppy love.
An experience that will stay with me and most likely you too.
Good place, great people! Go there.
