Have been motorhoming for 30 plus years. I enjoy camping, fishing both fresh & saltwater and am interested in visiting Civil War sites . Details: My wife and I are avid RVer's. We travel to Florida each year in January to visit the The Tampa RV Supershow. We hope to boondock in Florida & on the way to the 2017 Tampa RV Show. My wife is an avid Quilt Maker & also does a lot of sewing. Gardening is also high on her list & fishing is high on my list. I have traveled as far as Yellowknife in the Canadian Northwest with fishing buddies. It was a long trip; but, really worth it. My wife & I have traveled in all the contiguous states (48) . Our property contains about 6 acres. However; most of the property is not designed for a larger rv. Smaller rv's would be best...but, send us a message with your requirements and I'll let you know if we can accommodate your rig. Home Town: We live in the rural area of Waxhaw, NC. The town of Waxhaw has great restaurants for an occasional meal. The town has a historical museum depicting former President Andrew Jackson who was from the area. Also home to JAARS.Org. Look it up. We'll be glad to give you a tour of their facilities. It's also a great town to shop for antiques. Charlotte,NC is only 30 miles away with lots of things to do & see. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have only boondocked at relatives & friends homes or a one night stay at a Walmart. Skills or Expertise to Share: My wife and I are into gardening and canning for the pantry. I am a little short on expertize; but, know how to find it when needed.

Steve and Sandra have a beautiful, spacious, quiet place to get a great night's sleep! Their hospitality was way beyond 'standard'. Such a sweet couple. Definitely on the top of my HH list!

i spent two nights with Steve and Sandra. had to borrow his adapter and the next morning he presented me with a new one he had ordered from Amazon and been delivered at 6 am. i was overwhelmed. Their place is wonderful. a beautiful park like setting. i woke up to birds and a rooster. sat outside in the morning drinking coffee and enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. an added bonus… their son, Dave came over when i was leaving and backed me out of the driveway. i was so grateful. you couldn’t ask for a better place or nicer people. I’ll be back.

The hosts had great communication, were very helpful, and made us feel like family. The location is easy to access and the parking spot was solid. A great quiet location. Would definitely stay again when in the area. Wish we had more time to chat.
