Hosts were full of great info and Texas reference material. Not the most picturesque, but very accommodating and friendly!
We stay and had a wonderfull evening talking with our hosts. They gave us a lot of information about Big Bend N.P.
Hope to see them again on our travel.
We stayed for one night here on our way to Big Bend. The hosts were so kind and gave us a lot of great recommendations for our time in the park. They were super friendly and fun to talk with. We had plenty of room to park, felt safe. Thanks again!
I spent a couple nights with them as I checked out Del Rio. The weather was threatening severe storms and they were kind enough to let me park under a metal roof. That was great. Easy to find, right off the highway.
Trisha & Gay provided a great place for us to park. Water & 15amp power was available. Trisha also has excellent knowledge of her community and lent us lots of books and information on places to go and see. Trisha & Gay were very obliging in letting us extend our stay due to mechanical difficulties. We were made to feel very welcome. Thank you very much for your kindness.
Trisha and Gay are wonderful host that are now great friends. Thank you for everything. God bless you.
Trisha and Gay are the best hosts. They provided a place to stay, water and electric. They hosted us for supper which provided us with an opportunity to share information. They also gave Dave a fly fishing lesson. I would highly recommend a stay here! We became fast friends, exchanged information and hope to meet up with them in Alaska this summer.
We enjoyed staying at this site very much. They even had a covered area for us to back into with our 30 ft motor home. They had a lot of knowledge of the area and provided us with many brochures to chose from for the areas we were gong to go, especially BIg Bend National Park. I really appreciated their experience for all the towns and places in the area.
Only stayed one very comfortable night under cover. Met host briefly and they were accommodating and helpful.
Trisha and Gay are the most welcoming and friendly people we have ever met! Trisha went out of her way to give us tips on where to go in the Big Bend, and how to look out for scorpions. Our two girls loved Trisha, and didn’t want to go to our next destination....
We have made some amazing friends, and the few hours we spent together we will remember forever.
Thank you both for a perfect stay
Lots of love

Host couple was just the best. Of course, it would have been great if they had just offered a place to stay. But they reached out to us and made us feel at home - with info on the area, but also heartfelt camaraderie! We hope to go back again.
We had a great stay. Our hosts were super helpful, flexible and informative. We had a nice time chatting over a bonfire. If ever back in the area we’d love to chat more
Ms Trish was very nice. She gave us a lot of information about the area. We stopped on our way to Big Bend and she gave us information and recommendations for that area also.
Thanks so much for the warm dry spot to park, and electricity. Good luck with your reno's and thanks again for being park of the Boondocker Community. People like you, make a difference with people like us.
Trisha and Gay could not have been more helpful and welcoming.
Invited us down to their fire pit for happy hour and we exchanged stories until dark.
Graciously offered us water and power as well as an enormous amount of information and history of Del Rio and the surrounding area.
Wish we'd had another night to spend with them and do some more exploring.
5+ stars for Boondocker Hosts.
Thanks- Wuz a Dory
Thank you to Trisha and Gay! I didn't get to spend much time with them but they were very warm and welcoming and it was definitely an easy and convenient place to park and stay. I felt very safe there and had a covered spot for my van with electricity and water. A perfect stop on my way to Austin! Thanks for my second easy stay on Boondockerswelcome! :)
Trisha and Gay were helpful when this weary traveler needed it. I have 1600 miles to go. I hope to meet other couples as kind and generous.
Trisha and her husband were terrific and made our 1st stay with Boondockers Welcome the best!
Trisha was very accessible the day I was on my way, provided great directions and was kind enough to walk out to the front of the area. She guided me to an available spot, and offered up great information on the local places to eat. I really appreciate host's like Trisha because she makes boondocking very relaxed and enjoyable. I hope to make it to Del Rio again at some point and the next time I will bring my U.S. Passport so I can make the trip to nearby Mexico.
These are extraordinary hosts. We really enjoyed visiting with them and they made sure we had everything we needed. They provided great travel information and went well beyond our other Boondockers experiences. Thank you!
For our first experience we’ve been lucky to meet some wonderful people. Trisha and Gay guided us for our Big Bend adventure and gave us good tips for the coming steps of our odyssey to California. The level terrain was perfect for our rv and the place quiet and safe, close to the highway and services nearby. Thanks to these welcoming hosts and hope to see you again.
Located 700 meters south of where google says it is. Best to look for 4 white mail boxes.
So quiet and peaceful. I used the water hookup. There was electric available but I didn’t use it.
Easy in and out which was good for me since I got back late each night after spending the day around Del Rio.
I hope to vsit here again. Very nice man.
Trisha and Gay were amazing hosts and lovely people!! We are delighted that they also have a Hi-Lo trailer and allowed us a tour. This was the perfect place to stop between Big Bend and San Antonio. Thank you guys so much!
This was only a one night stop, but we had a good short visit, as it was on a work night so we could not visit long, but very nice host. Let us plug in for the night, as it's very hot for Canadians here. Very nice place to park. Hope if they come to Canada, that they let us play host for them. Thank You very much for your time and generosity. The Butler's
We were very happy that we have a day later than agreed still at this Host's. They have given us a lot of good travel advice. Robbert enjoy every night of his Takila from Mexico and the Texas shelf serves for anything and everything. It was relax on this quiet place.

I really enjoyed chatting with the hosts. They were very knowledgable about the area and gave me a torrent of advice about Big Bend. I wish I had more time to spend with them; I really enjoyed their company.
Great stay, very enjoyable couple. Stopped in on our way to Big Bend National Park, and they were very helpful and had lots of tips to give us. Let us know where to fill up on gas. Even let us fill up on water and plug in to run our lights. Highly recommend!
We had such fun, loved your town and appreciated all the info you provided. We especially loved the Whitehead Museum!! Thanks again to you both. Highly recommend a stay at Connie's host location in Del Rio Texas for anyone travelling through the area!!
Lovely and helpfull people. We get a lot of information about the trip to Big Bend SP. Good locatie for that trip. No Very nice place for stay longer but quiet and easy to reach
What great people....thank you for being so concerned about our welfare to give us a place to shelter our motorhome. Very friendly people! We were also given great info about the area! many blessings, teresa
Good safe spot and we had a nice time talking. Convenient to any shopping and to points West.
This was a perfect location for a brief stopover. They were super friendly and helpful. We even grabbed the geocache while we were there. Thanks for having us!
Nice spot just, handy to stores. Host were very friendly, had a nice visit. Provided us with lots of travel tips for Texas. THANKS. Lots of parking options!
We stayed two nights with Trish and Gay. They couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating. Well situated for day trips to Lake Amistad or Del Rio. Highly recommended.
