We are retired and take off on Secret Adventures at a drop of the hat. Like to go with no plans in advance. We will do all we can to accommodate the last minute like minders.
Pacific beaches. Ocean fishing at Westport. Bird watching.
These hosts are simply the best, both in terms of the site, and their personalities. Follow host's driving directions, which are correct. Don't trust mapping software, which will lead you to the same address, but in a different town. These hosts are fascinating to talk with and most gracious. They embody the open-hearted, generous people who make BW so great.
Our hosts were so thoughtful and accommodating during our short one night stay. Would highly recommend this boondocking site. We had a lovely visit with our hosts on their deck in the afternoon. This was our first time staying with hosts and they made our stay truly rewarding.
After days of travel in heat and smoky skies I landed with these wonderful folks. I can’t put into words how wonderful these two are!! They shared their fresh raspberries from their garden and other delights, let my friend and I play in the studio with clay, welcomed us inside for a real shower!! And the best part was spending a day at the beach and enjoying a meal with them…I felt so free and happy! And will treasure my quarter always!
A definite spot to return to, thank you!!
This was our very first experience using the boondockers app and it couldn’t have been a better one. Jim and Fran are the nicest people I have ever met and they really made sure we enjoyed our time there.
Very Friendly accommodating hosts, good communication, safe wooded retreat!! Grateful 🌲♥️🌊
We had a delightful and restful stay with Jim and Fran. They were fun, easy going, and interesting. We hope to see them again!!
Super sweet retired couple who kindly host Boondocker rv'ers and bicyclists (although I never saw the bikers even though they were there).
40 acre wooded lot just off the road, the dirt drive seems unlikely but opens up to the glen the house and shop are located.
Jim notified me the mapping programs are way off on locating their home. He will give you directions to follow landmarks to get there.
Jim and Fran are my first Boondockers Welcome experience and I could not imagine a more perfect introduction. Gracious and welcoming would be a gross understatement. Not only did we dine together and have outings, I left with my rig in with a fixed water heater, no easy task! They are both the quintessential hosts and finer people, you could not ask for. If you are lucky enough to discover them, you will be hard pressed to find better people on your travels!!
Jim and Fran are the nicest people you will ever meet! Very knowledgeable of the area and directed me to the best points of interest and seafood! Yum
They made me feel so welcome. The story of how they built their home from salvage materials was amazing. And they do pottery, got to see their studio and recent art. Very fun!
