We are just 4 miles SE of downtown and outside the city limits. There is a nice view of Pikes Peak which is about 50 miles to the NW. Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum is the favorite attraction for me but I volunteer there. If you like military aircraft, vehicles and aviation history you will like the air museum. Location
Access Road Conditions: Paved asphalt to boondock space and level grass easement. Access from highway to the residential street has a dip which might drag certain lower clearance trailers unless taken at an angle. The 4 lane Highway is usually not very busy and the residential street is a bit narrower than typical (16') so occasional oncoming vehicles could be a little challenge. There are a couple of trees along the street with low branches to avoid on the way out for rigs over 8 feet in height. You can easily steer around them. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There are a couple of options. Near to your rig on the grass or the gravel RV parking spot. Gravel parking is 62 feet x 15 feet so you could park there with the complete rig if you disconnect. We restrict longer than 30 feet due to the difficulty of getting longer rigs into the RV parking spot. Backing in recommended on the gravel parking. It is not a pull-thru. If electric is required we have a 30 Amp RV plus 20 Amp household receptacles at the parking space.

This was a much needed spot of quiet after a day of driving over the mountains. We found the location easily. Our view of Pikes Peak was pleasant to watch out the front window till sunset.

Our hosts provided the perfect night’s stay. We met them early and then toured downtown Pueblo. We enjoyed a warm winter evening at Bruse Alehouse on the Riverwalk. Sampled lots of their great food and beverage offerings and then slowly made our way back to this convenient oasis in the city. This host generously offers a perfectly level lot where we were able to park our van for the night. They offered us electricity, but we did not need it as the lot had both shade and sun access for our solar needs. Our small pup was allowed to walk off-leash while on their property. As we left in the morning, they noticed our van antenna was up and went above and beyond to inform us (so kind of them). We would gladly stay again.

Rex greeted us upon arrival and was extremely nice and my husband and I had some great conversation with him. His wife spoke with my husband a bit and she was also very friendly. At night you can see the city lights all around and it's beautiful! They gave us a welcome pack that had a bunch of cool stuff to do around Pueblo. Great stay, I only wish we had more time in the area!
