Our home is located South of Denver within a mile of Chatfield State Park. Chatfield State Park offers paddle-boarding, boating, fishing, camping, horseback riding, model airplane field, and off-leash dog park. We back to the High-Line Canal which is a popular recreational trail for walking, biking, and horseback riding. Grocery stores, breweries, and restaurants are nearby. Strong WiFi is made available to our guests. The parking location for your RV is located between our house and our barn on a flat dirt surface.
You must arrive during daylight hours. We are in a rural residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors that have young kids that use our street for playing.
Pets must be well mannered and remain close to owner. Please do not allow your pet near horses. The recreational trail we back to has a lot of horse traffic and pets must not bother them.
- Arrive during daylight hours
- Remove all trash/Pick-up after your pet
- No smoking
- No open fires or charcoal grills (propane grill or propane firepit okay)
- No group gatherings
- Quiet generators may be used within reasonable hours.
- Offer your host a cold adult beverage if you see them.
When you enter our 2nd driveway on the right, you will go to the end and the RV parking spot is on the left along the fence.
You will need to unhook your tow vehicle before parking. Parking for your tow vehicle can be alongside your RV or in front. We need enough room in the driveway to our barn to have access with other vehicles.
Backing up your RV when you leave will be required.
We do a lot of last minute trips in the summer, but feel free to give us a shout and see if we can accommodate you.
Chatfield State Park; Roxborough State Park; Waterton Canyon. 40 minutes to downtown Denver.
The location worked out so well we requested a stay on our return trip. This time we saw deer a couple hundred feet from D&D’s property. That was a treat. Would love to stay here on my 3x a year Denver trips.
Our hosts D&D were wonderful and I loved chatting with them. And the rural location was perfect for our stay. Close to the city and it’s amenities but rural enough for quiet evenings. thoroughly loved hearing all the evening owls, turkeys and coyotes- reminded me of home
This was my first boondocker's stay, hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and super accommodating. Definitely 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s for CO_Irish 😊
Stay safe, and Happy Travel's
