We are parents and grandparents hoping to retire soon from full-time jobs. Details: We were raised in the Denver metro area since elementary school. We currently have full-time careers and are happy to call Colorado our home. Our two boys have completed their degree and have since married. Proud parents of 2 granddaughters. Home Town: Roxborough, CO Favorite Boondocking Locations: To be determined. We, like everyone else, have been frustrated at the overcrowding of campgrounds and difficulty to find a place to stay while traveling. Skills or Expertise to Share: We grew up experiencing all sports and outdoor activities. From boating to skiing. With all our activities came the dreaded maintenance. We are do-it-yourselfers who try and find economical fixes for most motorized/unmotorized equipment.

This was our first overnight in our new van and it was the perfect place. Our dog Kona loved roaming around to get all the new smells and its a nice, quiet neighborhood for relaxing. The parking area was great and just as advertised.

Our hosts were a joy to talk to. We met D&D and one of their sons, and had a relaxing and fun time hosting our hosts talking over charcuterie and drinks. They are warm and friendly, and took time out of their busy schedule to talk with us. We met some neighbors riding their horses, and loved watching the birds and rabbits chase each other. Thank you for sharing your little bit of heaven with us!

I was so fortunate to be able to stay at this location. I had been staying at Chatfield State Park while I attend dog training in Littleton. Now that summer has arrived the park is totally booked but this location worked out perfectly for me. I got to meet the host and he was most gracious and interesting. Thus lucky me!
