*When submitting a request: ON THE REQUEST PAGE please SCROLL DOWN AND READ QUESTIONS and answer in the provided text box. No answers = automatically declined request. All new reservation requests as of 2/19/24 will be at the new rate of $15/night if hookups and/or laundry are utilized. We hate to raise prices but the cost of water and electricity have more than doubled in the past year. **The home is in the process of being painted and the front posts wrapped in cedar, so it'll blue when you arrive! We will update photos as soon as we can.** Just minutes from all this beautiful area has to offer, you’ll find Watson Bayou just steps away, 2 boat slips within a few blocks, historic downtown Panama City less than a mile away, Tyndall Air Force Base a short 9 miles away, and Panama City’s beautiful beaches just a quick 12 miles away. Whether you’re visiting for vacation or just passing through, you’ll have all the comforts of home and more in this little slice of Millville. If quiet and serene, and close to much of what makes Millville so special is what you’re searching for, look no further. Built in 1922, "Millville Mansion" (named by my mother's family) is a quaint cottage. The RV space is located behind the home, on a concrete pad where the garage was located prior to Hurricane Michael. Though historic, we love our little neighborhood and have made many amazing memories here throughout the years, and are happy to share it with you. Guests can enjoy our screened-in porch (shared with guests of the home as well), a spacious back deck, and ample private parking for multiple vehicles and a boat (bring your own boat). You’ll also have access to the shared laundry room located outside the house just off the back porch. *Please note this property is still undergoing some minor repairs as a result of Hurricane Michael. While structurally sound and fully functional, there are still some minor repairs/finishing work/landscaping being done. The immediate surrounding areas sustained a substantial amount of damage as well. While everyone is working diligently to make repairs, many areas including our little historic neighborhood are still in pretty rough shape. These restoration efforts do not affect the property’s home-like feel and will have no effect on your stay. We simply want to be completely transparent prior to your booking. THE SPACE When you arrive (check in is anytime after 2pm), you’ll be greeted by a covered front porch that overlooks the historic Millville Cemetery. You will see the concrete parking area and gravel parking area at the rear of the driveway where you can set up your rig and outdoor living spaces as you desire. In the morning, mosey out onto our expansive deck and enjoy your morning tea or coffee. This extra space is shaded by one of our gorgeous historic oak trees. There is ample private parking, you're welcome to park your tow vehicle, extra vehicle and/or bring your boat! There is so much to see and do in and around Millville including visiting our local farmer’s market, hiking on our beautiful trails, visiting our gorgeous beaches, taking in local art, dining at delicious local restaurants, or fishing off our magnificent coast. Whatever your reason for visiting, we hope you’ll find relaxation and fun at our little getaway. *Please be sure to read all house rules and notes prior to booking. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you! NOTE: *BE SURE to answer the questions we ask in your booking request. No answers = automatically declined request. *If dates are open, you can book. If not, they aren’t available. Please don't ask “are xyz dates available?” (these will NOT be answered). If they are showing unavailable, Please don’t ask us to open additional dates or block dates, simply wait until your dates are available to reserve. *Our calendar is only open up to 60 days in advance. ALL the dates you'd like to book must be within the 60 day window in order to send a request. I.E. If you want to book May 10-15, you must wait until March 16 to request all those dates since there are 31 days in March. *We do not keep a waitlist or block dates, so please check back in case we get a cancellation. *Stays are limited to the BW maximum. *Please note we do not allow tent camping or “car sleeping” at all. We appreciate your understanding. *up to 2 loads of laundry are included with your stay if you are also paying for hookups. Additional loads (and for those who aren't using hookups) are $5/load. We would love to continue offering this for free however our utility costs have risen significantly, and many users will wash 10+ loads, and we simply cannot afford the utilities for that much usage. We thank you for your understanding. BIG RIGS please see the guidebook for the best way to get to the property! For payment and check-in/out info please see the “arrival and departure” section of the guidebook you'll receive once your reservation is confirmed!

House Rules

HOME IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING PAINTED AND IS NOW BLUE! We will update pics as soon as we get some landscaping done. Please proceed to the concrete pad at the rear of the driveway OR the gravel area at the far back of the yard. Please don’t park directly next to the house/deck. Hookups are located at the left rear of the concrete pad. The home on this property is a long term rental and they have been advised to leave the driveway clear for you. You are welcome to use the yard, deck and laundry room (located on the back porch), however those spaces are shared with the tenants. There is a fire pit for use as well, (just off the deck), feel free to move it but please don’t use it on or near the deck). We do not supply firewood. No children under the age of 18 are to be left on premises at any time. Wifi is free, however, please be advised it doesn’t always work well since it’s far from the house. We’ve connected great at times and weren’t able to at other times. Weather is a factor. Your site is where Hurricane Michael decided I no longer need a garage, or the large gravel area next to it. The concrete pad is approx 12x20 but you can park your rig partially on that and partially on the rock. There is a 50Amp outlet and a 30Amp outlet along with water hookups. There is currently no way to empty your holding tanks but we are working on that! Please use a surge protector as we are not responsible or liable for any power surges or any other damage/injury that may occur during your stay. Currently we are able to back in our 45’ toy hauler without issue. We have not attempted anything larger, though other guests have successfully stayed in a 40ft plus toad. We are working on a circle drive that will allow us to navigate any size camper to the site (hence the odd gravel layout in the back as of now). Quiet generators are allowed. The yard is still quite a mess from Hurricane Michael but we are working to restore it. Please monitor your children or pets as it is a little rough for play or paws at the moment. This is a great spot if you just need a place to stop for a night or 2. The neighborhood is quiet and even though it’s an older neighborhood and has sustained substantial damage, we have great neighbors and a quiet little historic neighborhood. Please confirm you’ve read the rules, the number of guests/pets traveling with you and you understand where to park when submitting your reservation request. Excluding this information will result in denial of your request. This property is approximately 12 mi from PCB and 8 mi to Tyndall AFB. We ask for $10/night to cover our expenses IF you use hookups or laundry. If not-your stay is free. Payment details are in the digital guidebook you’ll receive.

Location

All new reservation requests as of 2/19/24 will be at the new rate of $15/night if hookups and/or laundry are utilized. We hate to raise prices but the cost of water and electricity have more than doubled in the past year. HOME IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING PAINTED AND IS NOW BLUE! We will update pics as soon as we get some landscaping done. You can pull in or back in to the space. The driveway is gravel. The street is fairly narrow but we have gotten our 45ft fifth wheel in with no problem. The best way to do it is to circle the block and have the front of the house on your left, pull just past it and back in. You'll park on the concrete pad at the rear of the driveway or the gravel in the far back of the yard. The water and electric hookups are to the left of the concrete pad at the rear (yes we know they are on the "wrong side" however that was the only place to put the pedestal at the time). Please note we do not allow tent camping or “car sleeping” at all. BIG RIGS please see the guidebook for the best way to get to the property! Owners likely won't be on site, home is currently occupied by a tenant. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is ample space next to the camper spot to park a tow vehicle. Check in is any time after 2 pm

Great place to stay near historic downtown Panama City and Panama City Beach. Our pup had a great time at the dog beach. Pad was level and deck was kind of magical under a large tree with Spanish moss. Appreciated the laundry availability!

Even if we didn't get the chance to meet our hosts, the communications, directions and all the needed informations were great. The spot is easy to back in, level and so quiet at night. Thank you so much, we fell in love with Panama city beach !

Nice quiet location, but read the host notes regarding big rigs. We had trouble following the directions as it seems we came in on 98 heading west. We made it in ok and had a nice evening as we rode out the thunderstorms. Also, I think the picture shows the house is yellow, it's actually blue 😀
