This is a great location for anyone needing to stop in the city for a night, but I cannot promise peace and quiet in a bustling neighborhood.
There is a 110 watt/20 volt plug and water spigot available. You will need 30-40 feet of hose to use the water.
We have city trash/recycling pick up and are happy to add yours to our bins. You will not have direct access to the bins, but we can communicate a time to give you access.
No smoking on property.
Please clean up after your pets.
There is about 50 feet of parking on the street. There is a “jog” in the road, meaning the parking is on a corner that dead ends. You must turn left or right down a one lane street to leave the spot. You will not have to back in to the parking spot but it could be a tight turn for large rigs.
Overnight street parking is allowed anywhere in the neighborhood. However, you will be able to find a spot on our block. Depending on size, your trailer and vehicle may fit in front of the house.
Happy to host anytime I am not traveling myself!
We're walking distance (1/2 mile) to Magnolia Ave, a fabulous strip of restaurants, bars, music and shops - including a glass blowing studio that opens its huge garage-style doors for free demonstrations on nice days.
I recommend Heim’s Barbecue for great everything - brisket, sausage, ribs, bacon burnt ends, Maggie’s R&R for drinks, Cane Rosso for pizza, and Spice for Thai.
We're also 10-15 minutes from downtown, the stockyards, West 7th, museums in the cultural district, and pretty much everything Fort Worth offers.
Also nearby is the Fort Worth Zoo, rated one of the top five zoos in America in 2017. It's a beautiful 1-mile walk through lovely neighborhoods if by foot is your thing; of course, it's also just a 1-mile drive down the same streets.
